I do, in fact, love Tea Drops. My first big order included the Lavender Matcha, the Strawberry Matcha Bubble Tea kit, a sampler, and the Rose London fog kit. I got some free tea drops to try and free shipping.
If I want a completely sugar-free experience with my tea, this is not the way, so I've been spacing out my tasting adventures. But I'm willing to allow myself one of these every couple of days, in exchange for some of my servings of fruit.
I'm going to hold off on the "latte" styles simply because the creamer packet is basically sweetened condensed milk. (I intend to order a box of them for tea parties, though! Single serving size SCM that's shelf stable? Yes, please!)
I really like the concept; bag-free tea in individual servings! So far they are all delightful! Oh, and that Lavender Matcha? I throw a drop of vanilla extract in mine and it's perfect.
So let's see if we can get the referral link to work properly this time:

This is a tea review. Later, I want to share a promo. Sorry about the spam, but I'm excited about this product and I get a kickback if people use my link.
You know I'm a nut for tea. I host tea parties, collect teaware, and drink lots of tea. I love bubble tea and matcha and masala and weird fruit teas. I like herbals and rich roasted teas.
I got that wonderful Elephant Teapot, and discovered the awesome Tea &Toast sets (and started an obsession.)
So when a friend of mine offered some boxes of tea that she couldn't drink anymore I cheerfully accepted! One of them was this:
Tea drops. Huh. It's ground matcha and a subtle amount of sugar pressed into a brick. You drop it into a cup of hot water.
I initially misjudged the size of the cup; it's meant for a coffee mug. (Though I still liked the smaller ratio.) It has good matcha flavor, and since I'm not supposed to be drinking sugar, I really noticed the sweetness, though it's not white sugar. It's organic raw demerara cane sugar, and so I'm allowing myself to indulge in it sparingly. I can add milk and make it a latte or just enjoy it. I was concerned about graininess but I didn't experience any. If I continued to stir my tea, I didn't have any settling, which is how I typically drink my Matcha. I served a cup to a friend and he noticed sediment in the bottom. However, he also really enjoyed it, and he's a Green Tea fan.
No tea bags! I love this! I can pour water from my teapot and let everyone pick their own flavor of drop! (But that means I need more flavors...)
So I went to the website, and took advantage of a sale to get a sampler, plus a flavor not in the sampler. I haven't gotten them yet, but I am eager to experience the other flavors.
Ok, thanks for reading! Here's the link. It gets us both $10 off!
