I don't doubt your Highness' abilities in the slightest. I just think when it comes to threatening his Highness with a knife you might get too... enthusiastic and carried away and miss the moment when you have to stop.

But yet again, I've already said - if the prince wants it, I'm his obedient servant and can only do my best seeing to it so you don't kill each other.

there's not bodily harm, at least not yet. with romi's ask to mac, it seems as though trouble may be on the horizon. a few more pretty weapons may not hurt, don't you think?

Yes, I completely agree, your Highness, but those "pretty weapons" should be in the hands of specially trained and skilled knights and castle guards and not the crown prince and princess - you two should be guarded much stricter than any armoury or treasury.

I am glad you find your gift exchanges meaningful and fulfilling, I would just prefer if they included less risk of bodily harm.

it is very practical! one may mistake it for a letter opener with its decoration, but it is in fact a hidden defense! truly useful to have on hand, indeed.

I mostly meant that the handle is so smooth it easily becomes slippery and the blade itself seems fragile, but you do have a point as well, princess.

I'd keep it to myself for now. I'm having enough problems as it is with his Highness sneaking you jewelled axes. Why can't you give each other flowers and love letters? (At least sometimes, your Highness, when I saw that axe desperation was not enough to describe my feelings.)

i do believe that daggers are pretty and useful, even more so than books. yes, books carry knowledge, but in a true time of need, a dagger is better to have!

now, since you've told me i can have them, i'm going to go collect pretty (and handy) daggers to give out to my friends. would you like one, too?
