For the SAYER asks - 1, 4, 8, 21-23 :D
P.S. I hope Adam Bash is doing OK during this hiatus
1 - Favourite individual episode
There's a lot I could go for but.... I'm actually going to say the bonus episode Monkey's Paw. For all that I love the characters and plot and interaction, it's hard to pick out one episode based on that. So instead I have picked based on how many times I can relisten to it in a row without getting bored.
I am torn between SAYER and FUTURE. They're both absolutely fantastic in different ways. FUTURE embraced its feelings wholeheartedly, no matter how much it hurts. It's worth it. Every time.
SAYER is. A bit more unstable about the idea. And I love it struggling with that growth.
8 - Favourite piece of random worldbuilding / lore Adam threw into an episode without ever explaining or elaborating
The Day The Mirrors Seethe. What the fuck is up with that, holy shit. I want to know more so badly.
21 - Would you ever apply to try and get a job working for Ærolith Dynamics? If yes, why - for the betterment of earth and humanity? For a better life among the stars? For simple AI fucker reasons?
It's AI fucker reasons. I guess AI romance or relationship reasons, but um. Yes. Science is cool, space is beautiful, I wanted to be an astronaut as a kid, I would apply to Ærolith because I want to be possessed by an AI and fall in love with it. Possibly be ordered around by it. No one read this answer.
22 - Say you got through the excruciating employment process - what position did you apply for?
I applied for something I thought would be meticulous and easy, like filing or sorting something. I like stuff like that. Stuff that doesn't actually require me to work hard.
23 - Say you got through the excruciating employment process - regardless of what you would like to do - what job would Ærolith think you're best suited for?
Oh I'd definitely be a tier one worker with some extremely dangerous, boring, and unfun job. I'm an English major for fuck's sake, my physics minor will not save me. The closest I'll get to being valued is when I debate SAYER about personhood and compare the Ship of Theseus to ghosts and haunted houses.
