I redid my temporary #teadesk to have it next to the window. I decided after Tao jumped across my desk to the window today and knocked a teapot (no breakage) on to the floor that maybe for the rest of my stay here I need to not get in the way of her favorite spot. Not sure how much longer I'll be in this place, longer than expected especially with all the flooding going to make finding a place to move to a nightmare, but whether that is by weeks or months, not sure yet. I've no room to complain at all, the worst I've had from this flood is falling in the lake, pretty much all the places Ben and I almost rented are currently horribly flooded, it could have been so much worse. My frustrations at delays have turned to sighs of relief, funny how the world works! Time to go watch the next wave of storms role in...

Decided my #jacebeleren #miniature needed a #dinosaur friend. Because #ixalan just painted this silly #palaeoscinus the only tiny dinosaur I owned, still want a theropod but all the miniature sized ones are so outdated. A #tealog for @tea.log giveaway, still looking for the perfect arrangement on the #teadesk I find my #shivanataraja next to a #beholder #miniature to be mildly entertaining. I'm now wondering, if Lord Shiva played a game of D&D, what class would be be? Ben said a wizard and made Vishnu a bard, but I'm feeling Shiva as a bard. This is what happens when I mix spiritually and geekiness. More friends joining the #teadesk not sure the #beholder #miniature will stay for long, but as a #teapet goes, you can't go wrong. Ah, it's nice to have access to all my teaware and miniatures, though a large chunk of today was spent repairing miniatures that broke in transit, none were destroyed but Kaladrax got smashed and warped 🙄. I went by the Dig n Save to hunt for clothes and ended up finding three new lamps, one of which is now on my temporary #teadesk to give me a bit more even lighting, plus look at how sparkly the #druzyquartz is with it 😍 once I'm settled permanently it will probably end up in my painting desk. #tea #lighting #newlamp #thriftstorefinds
