Stress relieved doodle. This is Serene’s older brother from the collab team HEVN based on Otohime.
No name yet.
Revised Character Intro-Song
Gold like sunlight takes my heart and leads me to do what's right.
Blue is kind and always giving; meeting her brother's quests.
Green the scarred reclaims himself.
White humanity glows bright."
Revised Weapon Description
(I'll try to be as articulate as possible. That said, I can't guarantee proper translations, nor proper Dust mechanics.)
Hellebore Chrysochlorous
As an Atlas Academy student, Hellebore designed and smithed his weapons himself (as all Huntsmen Academy students do). They're a pair of twin wrist-blades combined with a rifle. The wrist-blades are mounted to a metalic bracer that covers the entire forearm, and can withdraw and collapse into the bracer. A second pair of shorter blades pop out downwards to bracket the wrist and sides of the hand. Running between each blade is a rifle's barrel which fires Gravity and Fire Dust ammunition. Said ammunition circles the bracer on a belt similar to both Yang and Coco's ammunition. Together the bracers are named "Aeternum" and "Semper", which is Latin for "Forever" and "Always". Uniquely, the right bracer has an indentation-like port where his scroll can fit to monitor aspects of combat, like Aura levels and threats.
Echium Watercress
Both her and Viridian's weapons were smithed by their blacksmith father. Essentially they're a pair of bladed metal fans. Echium's tailor mother made the fan's fabric. They're named "Fluctus" and "Altum", roughly translating to "Wave" and "Crest" in Latin, too. The bolt that holds the fans together is actually a Gravity Dust crystal, though; and smithed into the tips of the outer blades is Gravity Dust as well. The fans can combine together to form a short bow with the Gravity Dust forming a bowstring of sorts. And what's an archer's bow without arrows? She has a quiver that holds a total of twenty-four arrows, with eight to a different Dust type (three groups of eight). The Dust types are: Water, Ice, and Mist.
Viridian Foxglove
Viridian utilizes a pair of sai called "Dolor" and "Voluptas", meaning "Pain" and "Pleasure". Both use interchangeable vials of Dust that can be inserted into and withdrawn from the tsukagashira. He uses Wind, Ice, and Earth Dust. Using the Dust he can augment his attacks accordingly
Niveos Nemesia
Living in Vacuo, one makes do with what they have and find. Which is just what Niveos did before attending Beacon, in Vale. She'd found it while her and her family lived nomadically, before coming across a destroyed camp. As far as names go, she calls it "Crescente Arenae", or "Growing Sandstorm" (again in Latin). Niveos' weapon is a variant bladed staff, as it has crescent blades on both ends. Circling the blades' circumference is an orifice that fires beams of Dust. In the very center of the blade is a slot for raw Dust crystals to be inserted. She mainly uses Sound and Sand Dust. The blades and staff collapse into itself for carrying by being cinched to the waist.
So I’ve been playing Hollow Knight lately, and here’s a weapon inspired by the game (and a dozen of other things I’m too lazy to mention).
tfw your brain cannot handle designing weapon with more than 2 forms.
Please drag my lazy ass up to design more OCs OTL.
Sketch WIP of Shinsoo Nevee from team HEVN. He’s the older brother of Serene Nevee, and is based on Otohime.
How to draw male again ?
Have a sketch:
Niveos' weapon.
"Collapsed for carry.
Blade retracts into itself, collapses further by slightly rotating."
Often, teams have in their possession a brain cell. A single brain cell.
As for Team HEVN, their brain cell is often fought over by Echium and Viridian in part of their sibling squabbles, as well as Hellebore and Echium's differing ideals of leadership.
Most times Niveos plays referee or peacekeeper. She will not hesitate to confiscate the brain cell, and ground the other three.
