team kindness is anything but…
cw: yandere themes, sadism (guess), emotional manipulation, possessive behaviour, ref to kidnapping
𖥔 ݁ ˖ You don’t get what people find so “kind” about those three.
It’s not like you can even complain about these problems to your friends because on the surface, they seem like the ideal boyfriends.
Nanase, feasibly, you can see how people come to that conclusion. A well mannered country boy who’s a bit of a born-yesterday type, who probably still thinks his grandparents are the absolute law of the universe. Such naivety has no place in Blue Lock, but here it is.
He’s so puppy adjacent when it comes to you. Call his name once and off he goes running, eager for your attention with a big grin on his face. He would never do anything to hurt you, the very thought makes his lips quiver and his voice shake and only you—yes, you!—can calm his breaking heart!! You can’t ever confront him on his behaviour, it’ll only end up with you having to comfort him through his tears.
You shouldn’t be deceived though, his real issue lies in his complete and utter complacency in the other two’s lunatic ways…
Speak of the devils, Isagi and Hiori have such good synergy on the field so it’s only natural that they’d get along equally as well off it. It’s what makes them so strong. If only they could stay there forever, two thirds of your troubles could disappear. They make Nanase appear like an angel.
If Isagi’s in a bad mood from losing a match or feeling overwhelmed by the general state of things, he can be so very mean to you… intentionally or not.
Although he also has his moments of domesticity. When he’s not under the typical football-induced mania found at the facility, he can be sweet or even tender at times. You can watch matches together all night long while he lays his head on your beautiful, beautiful thighs in relative peace. He can be good if you’re good in return, okay?
That all changes when Hiori comes into the picture though. With him, the two make quite the frightening duo of sadists who seem keen on destroying every semblance of normalcy in your life until they’re the only thing that remains.
Hiori initiates it but Isagi prolongs your suffering.
It’s almost animalistic the way the former will stare at you, poking at your skin with the sharp end of a fork just to see you wince in pain. All whilst maintaining a wide-eyed guileless expression on his face. At the very least he isn’t shy about disguising his fetish (unlike Isagi who always tries to act so innocent and come in as your saviour of sorts).
Still, you can’t help but lean into either one of their embraces. They unfortunately balance each other out rather well; a symbiotic relationship if you will.
If you want a break from the ruthless brutality of it all, Nanase is tooth-rottingly sweet. Someone who actually has moments of clarity amidst their shared delusions? Isagi. Quiet moments where you can unwind and pretend you’re elsewhere in the world? Hiori. Just ignore the sharp stabbing pain occasionally, okay?
It certainly doesn’t help that all three of these losers have weird attachment issues that require your 24/7 attention for them to not die.
The guilt tripping in this group is insane, and makes you question every instance where you may have used more force than necessary against them as inhumane acts of violence.
Good luck to the empaths out there, since you’ll practically be crying and throwing yourself in their arms every day since you didn’t immediately say morning to them within the nanosecond it takes to not piss them off. You’re so sorry you’re so stupid and you’re so lucky they’re so nice and forgiving—that they still manage to love you even after your abhorrent behaviour.
In the case that you have a bit more fight in you, that’s fine by them too! Egoists love a good challenge since it makes things more fun.
Nanase would be the first to break, whining at your feet pathetically. He just wants to be with you forever,, is that so bad of him? Why do you keep yelling and saying all these horrible things you surely don’t mean?
Hiori comforts him smoothly whilst Isagi tells you straight up to your face that you need to do something to make up for it. How awful of you. How cruel you are. Now, hurry up and get ready for a lunch date with them as an apology <3
And god forbid someone else shows an interest in you. They first have to humiliate whichever idiot thinks they’re worthy, and then their beloved darling for even allowing it to happen in the first place. If you don’t want to be punished again, you better steer clear of every other person in the world.
Hey, just be glad they don’t have the means to imprison you in a house so they can live their perfect family life without any distractions.
… Can’t say the same for their future selves though. Keep an eye out these next coming years.
