Sean Astin ran the Boston Marathon in 4:49:53, through cold and rain. Immediately after crossing the Finish Line, he greeted Denise and Jane Richard, mother and sister to Martin Richard, the 8-yr old boy killed in the Boston bombing of 2013. Sean raised over $22,000 for their Team MR8 foundation.
