((Info under the cut))
Team VCTA: Introduced in Volume 1.They had a rocky start in the beginning of the school-year, mainly due to Aias refusal to accept Viola’s assignment as Team Leader in his stead. As the months went by, it became increasingly more obvious Aias was holding his team back and, during VCTA’s first mission, he is forced to acknowledge his leader after Viola’s leadership saved the team from a possibly deadly situation.
Volume 4: After the fall of Beacon, VCTA ops to not seek further training in the other Hutnsment Academies and become an official Hunting Party by the name of “Queen Victoria”, recruiting Fenris Arguros from LASL and traveling the kingdom.
Months later, a particular mission causes them to clash with a Sky Pirate crew, resulting in Queen Victoria stealing one of their ships and setting to Atlas to return stolen weaponry the Pirates had in that ship.
There, they are warned by General Ironwood that the people behind Beacon’s fall might attack Haven next, and they should stay at Atlas Academy. Refusing the offer, Queen Victoria sets sail to Mistral, to warn both Mistral’s council and and Viola’s adoptive father, of the danger.
Team LASL: Introduced in Volume 1. Sister team to VCTA, but unlike their other half, LASL never did take off as a team.As Mundo would painfully learn down the line, Professor Ozpin had chosen Donna as LASL’s leader(Team SFOM, at the time), but Donna herself had convinced the Headmaster to pick him prior the ceremony.
Being childhood friends, Mundo and Donna worked well together, but Mundo was never able to get Fenris or Lilly’s to listen to him. The Breaching before their first mission came almost as a blessing, as teams that had yet to leave were ordered to stay and protect the city, saving Mundo from more failure.
Volume 4: With no Academy to hold them together, Team LASL disbands. Lilly returns to Atlas, Fenris joins VCTA, and while Donna and Mundo stay together, Mundo’s feelings of failure and regret cause him to leave on his own, as to spare Donna of the burden.
Team ELFN: Introduced in Volume 2. A 4th Year Team, they befriend VCTA and LASL after watching one of their sparring sessions. ELFN is a very promising and well-regarded team among the Academy’s Staff and Students, and are a strong contender to win the tournament at the end of the year.
Their leader, Edward, tries to be a mentor to the new trainees and takes a special interest in Mundo’s predicament. Sadly for the pair, missions and training keep Edward from preventing LASL ultimate demise.
Volume 4: As the last graduating class Beacon Academy would have, possibly forever, a lot of responsibility fell upon that year’s Senior students. That was specially true to ELFN, as they were the biggest asset that class had to offer.
ELFN had barelly any time to breath after the Academy’s destruction before they were buried in missions, putting their Team Leader under massive pressure and stress.
Team OSRS: Introduced in Volume 2. One of the several exchange-student teams to travel to Vale for the Vytal Festival. Right off the ship, they had problems that quickly escalated. OSRS arrival was an untimely meeting between the Luna twins, and a great source of grief for the pair’s teams. And family.
As luck would have it, OSRS and VCTA were pit against each other during the tournament, serving as an opportunity for the twins to vent their feelings towards each other. Their fight did not heal all their wounds, but served as a first step.
Volume 4: Lucca was reluctant to return to Vacuo and leave his brother behind with all that chaos, but with the intervention of their father, he was persuaded to resume his training at Shade Academy. Yet, Lucca and his Team still felt unease, fearing Shade Academy might be next on the terrorists’ list.
Team RBCT and Team HBNR: Introduced in Volume 4. Ramon was a close friend to Team VCTA, knowing Fernando most of their childhood and meeting the other members through that friendship. After Beacon’s Fall he managed to convince Queen Victoria to let him travel with them, as his dreams of entering Beacon were dashed with the Academy’s destruction. Helena, Aias’ little sister, simply sneaked into the Queen’s ship when they left for Atlas, not giving them a chance to turn her down.
Volume 4:As Queen Victorial Traveled from Vale to Atlas, then Mistral, they picked up more wayward kids in their various stops, ending up with enough members to form two teams by the time they got to Haven. Thus, RBCT and HBNR were formed.
At the Academy, Queen Victoria planned to entrust the two groups to Professor Lionheart whom could provide them with proper training, instead of the limited second-hand knowledge the members of their team had. Sadly, they arrive only to find the academy empty...
Team RPTD: Introduced in Volume 4. Your run-of-the-mill Sky Pirate Crew, they travel all of Remnant, terrorizing kingdoms and villages along the way. Led by “Jolly Roger”, the group unknowingly aided in the fall of Beacon, working with Roman Torchwick to intercept and acquire Atlasian weaponry as it traveled to Vale for the festival. Deciding to bail once finding out what they helped accomplish, the group quickly left the kingdom, making a few stops along the way...
Volume 4: After Vale’s fiasco, the Riptide Crew flees to one of their hideouts north to Vale. There, they raid a nearby village for supplies, which Queen Victoria happens to visit while searching for missions. The rookie Huntsmen succeed in taking back the stolen crops and Dust, and transport the loot to its rightful owners in a spare air-ship the pirates had in their hideout.
What Queen Victoria would later find out, is that that specific ship stored Atlasian weaponry Riptide had saved from the attack, and already sold to very powerful people. Not wanting to lose the deal, The Riptide Crew started a manhunt on Queen Victoria, following them all the way to Mistral.

Team RBCT: Tinto Bino and “Black Murder”
Volume 4 Updates: Link

Profile
Tinto Bino – Codename: “Blackbird”
Background:
As the second son of a successful Winery owner, Tinto had a life of privilege without the responsibility of an heir. As his older brother was under his parents’ constant gazing eyes, Tinto was left ignored. Since lots of money and little supervision didn’t mix well, it was a matter of time before something went wrong.
Hanging out with bad crowds, Tinto was introduced to vices like alcohol and drugs. One day he and his “friends” decided to have a good time at a forest in the outskirts of town, which was extremely ill-advised due to Grimm activity in the area, and was inevitably attacked. Tinto was left behind as the others ran, but was saved by the forest’s Ranger.
Tinto made it, but the Ranger perished. Riddled with guilty, Tinto decided to get his act together and take responsibility for the life he “took” by becoming a Huntsman.
“Black Murder” is a collection of Dust-equipped switchblades that Tinto carries in his person and uses for both short and long-ranged combat. Each individual blade is called a “Black Bird” and their Dust-type varies, but Tinto is known for favoring Gravity.
Aside from their Dust capability, the blades can also be connected with a special cord, allowing Tinto to reposition himself or bind/strangle enemies caught in the wire.
Semblance: “Sharpness”
Different from average Aura Blades, Tinto can shape his into an invisible and thin, yet durable, shape that can turn even the bluntest surface sharp. The Aura composing the blade is always moving in a chainsaw-like fashion over the surface Tinto “sharpened”, making it even more dangerous.
A small amount of Aura is constantly drained as Tinto sharpens an object and Tinto needs to be in contact with it to sustain the effect. Sharpened objects quickly lose their edge if separated from him and can cut through one’s aura, delivering a small share of unavoidable damage.
Class: “Rouge”
A swift and deadly fighter, Tinto is a slippery fighter that favors agility over durability. He wields several switchblades that hold small Dust crystals, enhancing their sharp edges with elemental effects. His favored Dust Type is Gravity, which allows him to suspend his blades in the air or bend their travel trajectory after a throw.
Team RBCT: Calvin Cooper and “Elixir”
Volume 4 Updates: Link
Higher Quality: Link | Link
Profile:
Calvin Cooper – Codename: “Nightingale”
Background:
The Cooper family is owner to one of Remnant’s few hereditary Semblances, which allows them to manufacture unique chemical compounds and blends of Dust. Thanks to it, they thrived in the areas of Chemistry and Medicine, earning the Coopers fame worldwide. Calvin’s father grew to be a renowned Doctor, and groomed his son to be the same, which Calvin did not oppose, but the path he wished to take deviated from his father’s.
While his father saved many lives in the hospital he worked at, the ones that stood out being from victims of Grimm Attacks, Calvin worried about those who didn’t make it to proper care. With that in mind, Calving seeks to become a Field Doctor end help Huntsmen save lives.
Weapon: “Elixir” – CIHG (Chemical Injection Hand Gun)
“Elixir” is a Handgun altered to receive special vials containing different mixtures of chemicals and Dust, allowing it to fire elemental blasts, enhancements(“Buffs”) or syringes aside from normal bullets. It has no other forms but compensates in versatility with its variety of ammo.
Semblance: “Alchemy”
Adding his Aura to chemical substances, Calvin can use it as catalysis to boost, suppress or even force chemical reactions, allowing him to not only produce otherwise impossible compounds, but also unique blends of Dust, which he uses in his customized handgun.
The amount of Aura consumed varies with how much energy the reaction requires and sometimes the final material has an expiration date, as the Aura that holds it in that state eventually fades. Because of that, certain compounds need to be alchemized on the spot to maximize effectiveness.
Class: “Alchemist”
Pairing a customized Handgun and his chemical-altering Semblance, Calvin focuses on supporting his team instead of brute force, producing different useful effects like smoke clouds and adhesive goo, or literally shooting enhancements onto his allies.
Bosco’s Grandfather was a war hero who fell off his kingdom’s graces when he married a Faunus. From then on the Bosconovitch name became target of disdain and scorn between Atlas’ prestigious families and military. That amounted for a rough life for Bosco and his father. Less fortunate than his father, Bosco was born a Faunus(Dog Tail) and grew up under heavy bullying.
Refusing to serve a Kingdom that rejected him, Bosco planned to enroll Beacon Academy instead but the institution’s demise in the past Fall forced him to reconsider.
“Colonel Duncan” is a multi-purpose rocket launcher equipped with a bayonet at the end of its barrel and a cluster-launcher in its rear. It is heavy and can be used for melee-combat by striking enemies as a battering ram or blocking incoming attacks. The bayonet can be detached to reveal a Knife and is equipped with a built-in grappling-hook system.
Semblance: “Seeker”
By directly or indirectly touching a person or object, Bosco applies a “Seeker” Mark to it. While a target is marked, Bosco has full knowledge of its position and can send his specially designed missles to pursue his Mark’s distinct Aura Signature. The Mark can last from seconds to hours depending on how much Aura Bosco spent on it and can be applied to multiple targets.
Class: “Cannoneer”
Bosco fights using a Rocket Launcher and Explosives to deal massive damage from a distance. As a trained soldier, he is also well versed in the use of other Firearms and close-quarters combat with a Knife.
