before anyone starts with the whole: ‘this surrogacy thing was sonya’s idea’ just remember that sonya is literally falling apart and having a breakdown! she has hit rock bottom and isn’t thinking clearly or acting in a rationale way! of course she is lashing out and blaming other people - she is trying so desperately to keep her head above water and failing. she is just trying to find something to hold onto, something to keep herself going. i mean, how is that not obvious? she knows that she is responsible and that it was her idea but she is also consumed with guilt, grief and anger and is trying to stop herself from drowning!
