Always remember that someone is fighting a battle that you don't know about. Take a moment. Listen. Say hi to a stranger. You never know the impact you have on someone's life. #suicidepreventionmonth #twloha #teamDillon

Second race with @dreadheadkiki a few weeks ago at Dillon Gym. My right shoe flew off during the first race, do we went barefoot and barechested for round two. #NoSneakersMeansNoBrakes #StopDropAndRoll #TeamDillon #DillonAllStars #TeamLocs #photofinish #Princeton #D2Kfitness haHa. Going to have some fun with the new Instagram video feature update.
The Journey - Blenheim Triathlon
Have a dream, dedicate yourself each day to that dream and set markers along the way...
My markers are my races and Blenheim was my third this season. After a lighter week of training I went into the race apprehensive. But I had, as always, amazing support. My coach Perry Agass was there with Michelle Dillon. My partner Ben and his family were also there in full spirits.
I went into the race relaxed, last female to enter the 'chicken pen' to put the swim cap on. I say relaxed but not going off at the gun wasn't me relaxing but my super warm swim cap that covers my ears. It was the other competitors that raced ahead which said to me.. ah it's time to Race! And race I did. I led infront of a large pack in the water with one competitor approximately 20seconds ahead. I kept focused and pushed further and further away from the surge behind me. Funnily enough I spotted a competitor in the TYR Hurricane wetsuit 5m behind me. My training partner in Lanzarote, Kyle Follet, wears this particular wetsuit (very distinctive with it's super swish gold back panel!) When I saw that I thought no way are you coming close! So my last 300m to the swim exist were extra ferocious.
Into T1 - a very tricky 400m climb where I pushed through the pain to lead...
It was then onto the bike. I felt really strong and I whizzed around the grounds of Blenheim Palace holding my lead...
The run was thoroughly enjoyable with fantastic race marshalls shouting 'Come ON TeamDillon!' I loved it.
A thoroughly enjoyable race and I can't thanks those enough who are continually supporting me! It's a shared journey and I am loving every step....
