Matt B. - Wetter [Official Music Video] King Samson Teaser Video
The World of Matt B. // Indstruktibl
My excitement is growing as I anticipate the release of my short documentary with Indstruktibl. I feel blessed that the founder and CEO of Indstruktibl, Chad Addie, reached out and asked if I would be interested in being interviewed; so of course I jumped at the opportunity. The interview was filmed a few weeks ago, and my anticipation is mounting. While I have done several interviews in the past, nothing has been as exciting as this one. I had the chance to speak uncensored about my life and what being an artist means to me. No stone was left unturned and no topic was off limits. The video is now in its final stages of editing and will be released at 7:00 p.m. this evening (June 18, 2013). I am definitely looking forward to sharing this part of my life with my fans and hearing all of your feedback.
Shortly after the interview, I was contacted by his company and was asked if I was available to meet with them to discuss sponsorship. While this is still a work in progress and nothing has been set in stone, there are some really big things on the table involving Matt B. and Indstruktibl. Considering that the Indstruktibl brand is more than just a clothing line, one could only imagine the types of proposals that will and have been offered.

The World of Matt B. // “The Other Side” Project
It’s almost been a week since the release of my new music video “The Other Side”, and I must say that I am pleased with the feedback that I have been receiving so far! Many of my fans have approached me via Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to tell me that they love the track and that the video was brilliantly done. As an artist and the producer of my own videos at Matt B. Productions, this makes me extremely happy and proud. I am thrilled to have such a supportive and active fan base. You all are my motivation and the driving force behind Matt B. Production. Without you, this show goes nowhere!
Promotions are going very well and I’m excited to see the growth of the “Other Side” music video over the next few weeks. We are pushing all three versions of the track: The R&B, Club, and DJ versions.DieterStemmer, owner and founder of Sounds United Records in Germany, told me that all three songs have great potential to be hit records; especially out there in Germany. It is very common for there to be several remixes to one track over there, so hopefully the “Other Side” remixes will fit in perfectly. Could you imagine Matt B. in Germany? Wow! That’s a very cool thought. But I probably shouldn’t get ahead of myself. Who would have thought that when I decided to do this collaboration withFrozen Skies four months ago that it would turn into something this big? Having the opportunity to work with a record label internationally doesn’t happen on a daily basis, that’s for sure.
Of course, all of the promotions for “Other Side” and working with a record label in Germany does not slow down Team Matt B.. We currently have several projects in the mix for the upcoming months. I can’t spill many details just yet, but let’s just say that between several cover songs, writing my own original tracks, and filming several new music videos, I have my work cut out for me. It’s going to take a lot of long days and sleepless nights, but I am willing to put my best foot forward. Some times I wonder if I will ever get any sleep, but I guess I can do that when I die.
If you haven’t gotten the chance to check out “Other Side”, you can feel free to take a look here and let me know what you think in the comments:

The World of Matt B. // “The Other Side” // The Men of Many Hats
In this day and age, audio and video production is ALL-digital; which makes it very easy to share files for editing purposes. In my case I use Protools 10 for all of my audio production underneath my production team ‘Matt B. Production’. This means a lot to me as an artist, especially considering that most artists don’t have the opportunity to create and or produce their own stuff. They are unfortunately stuck within the box of a record label; but not Matt B. I’ve had the unique opportunity to create my own production team for this project, as well as future ones, giving me all creative control. The same pertains towards my Videography. I’ve taught myself how to use and operate cameras and rigs. This has given me superior knowledge and allows me to be extremely hands on during the production of my music videos. Now of course what’s a video without proper software? I use industry standards for video editing, Final Cut Pro X; and I must say I love it!
My excitement is building and I can barely contain it, as I think about the release of my collaboration track “The Other Side”. I worked so hard on this project and it’s been months in the making- since late January to be exact. The song writing and recording is what took the longest because I was collaborating with a production team in Germany via the Internet. Long days and late nights went into the final product and I must say I am extremely pleased.
The road was long for this project, dishing out a total of three different versions of the same song. I was told this is very popular to do in Europe, but my God! Doing three songs all at once was a nightmare! There’s an uplifting-trance version, a club version, and an R&B version of the same track with yours truly—Matt B.—on the forefront of it all. But as you know I couldn’t have done this by myself, no matter how skilled I am as an individual. So I would like to give a special thanks to the following people who made all of this possible:
Michael R. Mims, who’s my publicist, creative director, graphic design artist, and plays other major roles in the Matt B. Production team. Chad Addie, who I actually just signed on as my manager, and is owner and founder of indstruktibl Clothing. He also does graphic design work, web design, marketing, and his list also goes on and on. Marvin Oraha is sound engineer for Matt B. Production, and he does some of the best mixes I’ve ever heard in my life. Frozen Skies and Marc Paprott created the instrumentals for the track “Other Side”. Marc created the R&B instrumental as well as the Club version instrumental. Frozen created the concept and assisted in writing the song; however, the R&B version was written by myself. Last but not least, Sounds United, which is the record label the three-track extravaganza, will debut under on May 24, 2013. I know I’m probably forgetting something or someone, which is why I am not a fan of creating lists like these; so to whoever was forgotten, I’m sorry. :)
Oh and I almost forgot Here’s the link to the teaser video

The actual RnB remix video drops Thursday May 23rd and I can’t wait to share it with you all. Special thanks to Michael Mims for helping me shoot this video and Angela Athena for playing the lead female role.
