I figured I’d ask you since you nicknamed Dark Sun, but do you have a name for the new Eclipse on TEAS? It feels wrong? weird? calling him Eclipse🙃
WHY YES, I DO!
I fully agree on how weird it was to call him Eclipse, and I decided to take a complete turn on interpretation of his name and environment!
We all (hopefully) know the base foundation of the world around TSBS is a world in which Humans live along side AI in a not-so-friendly manner. They’re given a couple rights, but not much overall. Put into work the second they’re created and not expected to live a life outside of servitude. Little did humanity know, androids were advancing faster than they could predict.
This lead to the science of AI, questioning if our recognizable animatronics are actually ALIVE. If they feel emotional/physical pain, if they understand humanity’s concepts, if they have souls.
If you want to check out an example of young AI vs old, sentient AI - observe Solar Flare and Eclipse from The Sun and Moon Show. Their interactions depict an AI that is not supposed to be sentient, confronting a faulty AI that is.
Because we’re in a different dimensions with clearly different rules, I decided to bend them as well.
In this universe, AI is getting farther ahead, and laws aren’t. AI is discovering itself and its identities, and Eclipse (EAS) is finding himself as well. Though he loves the name “Eclipse” and wouldn’t dare part with a “gift” such as it (or so he calls it), he strives to discover what it’s like to feel human, like many sentient androids wish for. So, he gains a human sub-name, Norman.
His design is based off the “regular joe, 9-to-5” stereotype…ish? Basing himself off a stereotype of the common man because it’s all he understands at his current moment in his sentient journey. Characters like him (and inspired off of) includes Free Guy and Fix It Felix.
THIS NAME IS COMPLETELY FREE TO THE PUBLIC!!! TAKE THE NAME AND RUN! GO! MAKE YOUR DESIGNS! I’ve already infected some of your favorite artists with the Norman Brainworm…it just FITS! Y’know…Normal man…Norman…Eclipse being a Normal Man…hahahah I’m so funny please laugh.

Fun fact: in my ref sheet, Norman and Saturn have a HUGE height difference. It just doesnt show for this art for perspective purposes!

Im willing to bet Pluto only found Saturn because of Neptune accidentally calling Saturn that one time; Neptune was hiding them(?), right? So Pluto, after discovering Neptune actually had their sister's location, likely attacked Neptune for delaying his mission (Neptune is either dying or dead) and stormed straight to Saturn's whereabouts. But thats just a theory... A FILM THEORY!!!

Also finally sharing my TEAS human AU concepts ↓
(Saturn's actual appearance looks like her OG self, BUT due to her being in a more human environment, shes pretending to be an Entity as well and disguising herself)
Entities are more acknowledged in the TEAS dimension (unlike in the SAMS, LAES and LAES:R), but theyre treated as mere workers whose purpose is to serve for an unknown long time. They arent seen as human but not as a monster either (which is the best way to describe an Entity), just some beings that can serve a money hungry corporation.
The EAPS dimension is a similar case, but the Entities are "bred"(?) within the workplace (meant to strengthen their skills; Entities who dont learn quick are scrapped.) unlike TEAS where they are merely forced into animatronic bodies (that they grow into until its fully flesh) and told to work which forces them to adapt.
Surprisingly, no Entities from either the EAPS or TEAS dimension are bothered by their "birth" and merely go along with it (Eclipse/Elias did not fuck with this but knew he couldnt do anything), likely accepting this will be their chance of survival. Theyre a type of Entity called "Buzz Entities" as a reflection to bees; Buzz Entities dont need a Host even when, sometimes, they are a Full Entity as the place theyre in becomes their "Host" due to them adapting.
I betcha he was thinking about his wife (if you see another post of mine about this exact same things, no you dont; my internet is shit so)
