ChinaSo - ChinaSearch another Chinese search engine

Two small Chinese search engines Jike or Panguso have merged into a new search engine called ChinaSo. It is believed that it is run by the Chinese government.

ChinaSo has the Google style multi-color logo and page layout, with portals covering news, finance, videos, maps (via Autonavi) ...

Baido reigns king with 63% of the market share, while Google gets 1.6% mainly because it's partially blocked (very slow) by the Chinese government.

‘so’ in this context means search thus ChinaSo  is ChinaSearch

Baidu the Chinese Search Engine launch PC Antivirus

Baidu the search giant in China have teamed with security experts @ Kapersky to develop an Anti-virus, called Baidu Antivirus and labeled v1.0 beta 1, currently only a limited number of beta testers can download test it.

The major player in Chinese antivirus scene is Qihoo, with its antivirus software (360 Safeguard).

Qihoo have been under heavy criticism this year, for users data collection, and even got all it's apps booted out of the Apple store, so probably Baidu sees a chance to take over at least a part of market share.
