There are over 5.5 million Yahoo Groups. At one point over 115 million Yahoo Groups users. Verizon is deleting over 18 years of the shared contributions and history of millions of people. They are only allowing 6 weeks for the download and rescue of our files, photos, and memories. Verizon’s automated data download tool has been broken since Nov 3 and users are getting blank data or incomplete data.
Yesterday Verizon blocked the Archive Team* that has undertaken a heroic effort to save as many public Yahoo Groups they can find. That block is now cascading down to individual moderators and uses...we’re unable to login, downloads are failing and we’re seeing more and more “The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error”
The solution to this is simple - offer more time to allow 100+ million people time and space to access Yahoo’s servers in a controlled manner.
Want to help? Respectfully contact Verizon’s leadership and ask them for more time - through March 14, 2020. You can email them or in some cases tweet the executives via https://www.verizon.com/about/our-company/executive-bios
Complete list of contacts here: https://modsandmembersblog.wordpress.com/2019/11/25/how-to-contact-verizon-directly/
And don’t forget to copy the media: @cnet, @boingboing, @techradar-blog and The Telegraph UK, all of whom are covering the impending Yahoo-Gedden.
*Archive Team has found a workaround, but their efforts have been slowed by Verizon.

The best travel compact cameras in 2017
So travel photography has a number of challenges and the first is the size of your gear. I tried to compromise and use smaller compact style cameras but never felt I could get the same as using my DSLR kit. So my compromise is to carry weighty cameras and lenses however not everybody is that stupid.
There are a range of compact cameras aimed at the travel market, for me Lumix and the TZ range has…
