STRETCH-WOVEN FABRIC The fabric used in these garments does not simply incorporate elastane into a knit. It is woven, using composite stretch fibres, every last one of them exerting compression. This new kind of technical fabric is 35% lighter, more abrasion resistant, and, because it is flat woven, it doesn't trap sweat. MINIMALIST STYLING Style wise, I'm an architect, so not into pseudo "anatomical" cuts. My background in competitive cycling also means I've seen too many glued/welded seams peel apart. I hand cut each piece myself, in my studio in Newcastle East in Australia, then double sew every seam, for the utilitarian finish I appreciate in clothing intended to last. TECHNICAL FABRIC AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE For comparison's sake, one leading swim brand sells racing shorts in this fabric for $400 a piece. I keep my costs down, by not cutting an inch of this fabric until you have placed an actual order. If I do make a small batch, I will make no more than one piece in each size.  THE REAL FIGHT The real fight with gym clothing, is against sweat, and the cheap knitted fabric that traps it.
