Ok, I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thought Sam and Tucker has much much more chemistry than Danny and Sam.

Also Danny should have been with Valerie they had has the development, the history, the chemistry even Jack and Technus seemed to ship them.

When I was little I liked Danny/Sam but rewatching the show years later made me realize Sam and Danny weren’t that good for each other. I’m not saying it’s true but sometimes the show made it look as if Sam only started liking Danny for his ghost powers while Valerie’s Character development was literally about learning to understand ghost.

Valerie already loved Danny and her arc would have come full circule had they have gotten together.

I heard Steven wanted to complete Valerie arc by having Danny/Valerie and Sam/Tucker end up together and I really believe that’s what should have happened.

I really think that was the story the show was going to/had to tell.

New semiserious DP rewrite idea:

we keep the jokes people make about Sam & Danny obviously being in love with each other. But make it a plot twist where they genuinely don't feel that way about each other and it's starting to really get annoying but Sam gradually gets a crush on Tucker and she ignores it at first because it's the "he's so annoying 😡" <(angry blushing) kinda crush.

Meanwhile Tucker's bought into the school gossip of Danny and Sam "secretly" having feelings for each other and trying to be a good wingman while having a crush on Sam.

And then Danny eventually finding out about both of their crushes and is like: "playing at being the wingman for my wingmen; as the universe intended" 😌✨

But it's chalk full of shenanigans because Sam's trying really hard to deny it she Tucker is trying his best to be a good bro(tm)

Ok but but real talk

the big reason I like Sam/Tucker sometimes us they're literally opposites attract & repel at the same time. Like,,, they ultimately love and care for each other and are a force to be reckoned with as a unit. But there are also the differences. And the differences are funny.

They strike me as the kind of people too argue for fun also. And so they'd be the kind of couple to argue for fun as well. Which is different than couples arguing all the time in cringe fail relationships.

Also to be clear neither of them are exactly straight. In fact I think it'd be really funny if Sam was bi and Tucker was generally speaking demiromantic bi or pan (and maybe gender fluid)(or at the very least he likes dressing up. He'd be in school plays in any role they chose to stick him in with little fanfare. If he ever so choose to become a theater kid. He's gender of gamer first and foremost tho, let's be real.)
