I think in the long run I might ended up sticking with tumblr as my new home, with mastodon on the side.

Because this place is really gonna be the last remnant of "Web 2.0" before we monetize everything to hell and back. Twitter isn't gonna get better anytime soon, in fact it's heading worse as fascist is being unbanned.

Meanwhile Mastodon is just full of people circle-jerking about how much better Mastodon and defederated system is and it just reminds me of early 2000s Linux forum in the worst way possible!

(also spoiler alert: it isn't any better. I'll make a separate post about how defedarated systems is not resilient against the banality of evil)

Also discovering art and artist using their current system sucks ass and they have the weird culture (especially over the general instance) that 'demand' artist to put content warning over their artwork because "they didn't consent to the self-promotion of your own art" and other silly reasons.

You kinda have to join an art / content creator specific instance if you want people who can respect and appreciate artist.

So that leaves me with Tumblr, the only place where it's still weird and full of art even after Yahoo/Verizon tried to fuck this site over. (I left Tumblr after THAT shitshow)

And since Tumblr's gonna intergrate with ActivityPub soon (the thing that makes Mastodon, Mastodon), that just give me more reason to put some effort into my tumblr now.

I was hearing the latest episode of MKBHD’s podcast, And they came across the topic open ai... It was shocking that after all these months it still keeps the hype and rather wat the company does with their hype. They still manage to grow with the hype and keep growing on what they do to this humanity.

Adding Open AI services with microsoft applications are one of the best things going to happen in this year in my opinion.

Undertaking Kemetic Orthodoxy’s Beginner Class!

Yeah, I now, I’ve remained fairly quiet as of late, and there’s a very good reason for that. Many of them actually. For one thing, my current laptop, the faulty bucket of bolts barely held together by duck tape that I bought from Dell back in January of 2018 is finally dying a slow and agonizing death. Thankfully, however, I’ll be able to replace it in April, which I will be doing by obtaining a Mac Air laptop. Finally, I’ll have a fully accessible laptop after all of these years banging my head against a wall trying to make the various Dell computers I either get talked into or forced into buying and using. 

Anyway, that’s not the reason for this post. Pardon me as I digress my sorry blind ass, hardcore style. 

So yeah, I know I’m already neck deep in like six different training programs from various religious organizations (Arn Draiochet Fein, The Troth, Hellenion, Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids just to name the major ones), but I decided due to ongoing interesting developments and shenanigans involving a couple of Netjeru to dive straight into the current beginner class for Kemetic Orthodoxy.  The only thing I’ll say about the other training programs I’m in is that thankfully they allow you years to complete if need be.

I’m not sure how far down this particular rabbit hole I shall go, but we’ll see where I end up eventually. Wish me luck?
