Everyone’s so focused on Technos voices being violent and insisting on him causing bloodshed, but no one really talks about why that is. They are often yelling about protecting his allies between the chants , he’s overly protective of his allies not just bloodthirsty. (I mean have you read his chat when Tommy, Ranboo, or even Phil’s around)

I liked the comment techno made on one stream where he talked about c!technos voices and then Phil’s comment of like “you got better at ignoring them” . Made me ponder. What if he didn’t fight them off, and just succumbed to the voices as the Blood God intended,.., he runs off for a while and does his own shit but I’m debating he comes back to meet various old friends at some point. Yeah hey Phil I’m back also I’m not in control of ,y own body but I miss you. Hey. Teeth teeth teeth gnash teeth terth

Always loved a more animalistic c!techno shoutout animalistic traits in people gotta be one of y, favorite tropes . Tommy says some shit like “I ☝️ have the blade” and techno bursts out of nowhere and massacres a crowd. He also BARELY stops before going after Tommy but he ignores that

Guys, I was listening to voices again and I just thought about that nickname “the blade” for a minute. (this has probably been said before just bare with me)

So of course the nickname comes from his username probably much before the voices were canonized. But it makes so much sense in dsmp lore and can show a bit more about his character in my opinion. So it’s “the blade” in other words the weapon, the sword. He used this nickname to point out that all he is is a weapon to Tommy in particular. But when it comes to the voices, he is their weapon. He’s not the wielder who chooses how to react to the situation and who they decide to kill. He is not only a tool to those around him who are willing to use him for their own gain, but his abilities are controlled like a puppet by whatever forces call out to him through his mind. They are the wielder and he is just a sword. . .
