On October 28th, 2016 ... my good friend Valeria Montes was a featured speaker and performer at TEDxABQ Women in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Myself and Jesús Muñoz where are “back up dancers” for this collaborative performance, and due to a WESTAF opportunity in Tacoma, WA ... I was unable to be in Albuquerque on the day of the event.
So in the spirit of Flamenco, Jazz and Hip Hop ... we improvised. With the help of media and magic (shout out to Michael Lorenzo Lopez) we created a Transporter so I could be(am) in two places at once.
Here is the result, Tightrope: A Flamenca Poem, a multimedia theatrical choreopoem ... about a girl and a thread.

Spectacular job, @tedxabq! I was brought to tears many times today while learning about the innovative, touching, and brave presentations. I always wonder how you will top the previous years event, yet you never fail to do so! Bravo, congrats, and thank you for the hard work to make this happen. My heart is 1,000 times bigger because of my experience today. #tedxabq #abq #love #mindblown (at Popejoy Hall)
