The first episode of Space Academy, about a group of cadets at a space military school, aired on September 10, 1977. The first episode involved the cadets trying to rescue an orphan who turned out to be the guardian of eggs from an alien. The series featured Jonathan Harris, most known for his role as Dr Smith on Lost in Space. ("The Survivors of Zalon" Space Academy, TV Event)
