did any of y’all ever read the CHERUB series? it was about like teen spies in the UK. They were being recruited by the govt, very unethical, all between ages ten-eighteen, they had a coloured shirt system to denote hierarchy and super secret agent skill level, the main character was a kid called james adams

(and he was mostly a dipshit, but hey, late 90s/early200s standards for teenage boys were very low, im willing to forgive that one)

It had been a very long day of training for the young girl. Tears formed as she yawned, walking down corridors towards the  barracks. AV-0390 quickly rubbed the water away before anyone could see. What a nightmare it would be if they saw any hints of emotions.

She quietly walked down the narrow halls towards her own barracks. AV was stopped in her tracks though when she saw  her friend   FN- 2437, awake and wondering around. Again.

It didn’t seem like he had noticed her, she had been carefully walking the whole way down. She didn’t want to scare him. She coughed lightly to let him know she was there. “Can’t sleep?”

So my family just moved to an uppity “developement” 🤨 and I haven’t met any of our neighbors yet 😣 plus corona is happening😓, but I keep hearing the shrieking of children? 😳😳😳But I can’t tell which direction they are in? And other than that it is complete silence?😖
