so I'm at the library, downloading Maya off autodesk...
and then I realize I forgot a USB, and the computers don't have slots for my SD card. A few minutes of contemplating. I can go home, and chew through more of my internet plan, or I can find something else to download onto. That something being my HTC One, which has 32 GB of memory, supposedly for music. But I don't have 32GB of music. SO basically, I have everything on my phone, waiting for when I get home and transfer to my PC. yey!
How well i will do with said Maya program is still unknown.
Living In The Future
My phone now answers my spoken questions. Sometimes, even correctly. But I don't hold the occasional inaccuracy against it, considering that I rarely get correct answers from most PEOPLE I ask. Plus, my phone doesn't ask to burrow money. I excitedly told my wife about the new superpower bestowed upon my phone and the first thing she asked me was (predictably) "What kind of questions could you possibly ask a phone?" I had to think about that for a minute. I mean, I could ask my phone about its parents and its upbringing, but then I think I would just be prying. I could ask it about its hopes and dreams but then it may think I'm merely "rubbing it in" because its just a phone and probably will never have an opportunity (yes, even in AMERICA) to better itself. So, I told my wife that perhaps I would ask my phone for its opinions on various things. "What is the best Polish fusion restaurant in our neighborhood?" is just one example. It's only one example because, to be honest, I couldn't think of another. "Well, I think if you have to ask a phone for its opinion on matters, you probably should be asking YOURSELF some questions." My wife doesn't believe in living in the future... Does she, phone?
