Got my mini fuse/relay box installed. Tekonsha brake controller for towing. The far right button fits the empty spot in the TRD off-road 4x4. Proper installing of the Tekonsha Envoy will make sure your trailer's stopping system receives sufficient energy.
The Tekonsha Envoy is definitely an electronic brake controller meant to help motorists manage the preventing energy of the trailer's electric brake system from the cab. However, to ensure that the controller to correctly work it should be safely mounted towards the tow vehicle's dash board. Although the operation is simple enough, it takes just a little persistence and thinking about negligence the installer to make sure proper operation and reliable trailer preventing energy.
Instructions
Dash Mount with Mounting Ball
1. Choose a sturdy just right the dash board to mount the Tekonsha Envoy. To function correctly, the controller should be situated using the rear from the unit facing the leading from the vehicle and never link to the moving areas of the dash, like the ash tray.
2. Secure a bit of double-on the sides tape to the foot of the ball mount bracket. Temporarily put the mounting ball within the selected dash location using the other side from the tape.
3. Drill three 1/16-inch diameter holes using the ball mount like a template. Place three #6 3/8-inch screws in to the pre-drilled holes to secure the mounting bracket in position permanently.
