telluric (adj.)
1800, "containing or derived from tellurium;" 1835, "pertaining to or proceeding from the earth;" 1836, "pertaining to Earth as a planet." The last two senses are from Latin tellus, tellum(genitive telluris) "earth, the earth" (see tellurian). Also see -ic. Related: Tellurial.

I’d like to ask everyone not to pester Telluric about the money.
I get that it’s tempting, I really do. Just hearing about it is likely to make anyone’s blood boil, especially with Rahetalius’ recent videos getting a lot of attention. I completely get why you’d feel the urge to message Telluric on my behalf and scold him, or worse.
But I’m going to have to ask everyone to just put the righteous anger down, because it doesn’t help anyone -- yes, not even you. Anger is a drug, and trust me, you don’t want to get addicted to it. I was a slave to it for over three years and I hated every day of it. It almost ruined my relationship with my boyfriend. It made me contemplate suicide multiple times. I see people on this website that practically define themselves through what makes them mad or what they don’t like -- led by their wounds, not by their spirit -- and it’s a sad state of existence. I would hardly call it living. I ask you not to do that to yourselves.
Heckling Telluric doesn’t help him, obviously, but for that exact reason, it also works against me in ways that you may not expect. Please understand that I don’t want revenge. I don’t want him to be made miserable for what he’s done; I want him to get his life together -- that’s why I tried to help him in the first place. I think people can learn from their mistakes and become better, and that’s what I want for him. And when you attack him, it validates any pre-existing notions he may have that everyone is out to get him. At best, he ignores it. At worst, he lashes back out angrily (and remember what I said about anger?) and digs his heels in even deeper with yes-men, which skews his perception of the world and interferes with his ability and opportunities to self-reflect and therefore grow. And of course, that just makes more people mad and continues to feed the vicious cycle. Nobody gains anything; everyone walks away feeling worse than before.
If you’ve seen my recent comments on several Warframe videos related to this whole moderator drama, you might have noticed that what anger I have left is virtually all directed at Digital Extremes for their gross negligence. And it’s not even really anger -- more like disappointment. Considering their reaction to Rahetalius’ video, I might actually say DE has even more growing up to do than Telluric does, so I don’t reasonably expect an apology of any sort from them, and therefore it looks like I won’t be going back to Warframe anytime soon.
I do mention Telluric’s past behavior in those comments, but they have been precisely that: Past behavior, spoken about in past tense, because I do talk to him occasionally on Discord, and I want to believe he does really want to fix his life and change for the better. I’m trying to heal, and as insane as this may sound to you, I think the best way for that to happen is to help Telluric heal, too. I said to him several months ago that I’ve forgiven him, and I’ve come to the conclusion more recently that it won’t do to simply say that in my quest for closure and move on. It’s something I feel like I have to actively participate in, even though I don’t really understand why at the moment. Maybe it’s just that I want to, for once, finish something I’ve started.
Regardless, I promised him in 2015 that I’d help him get through his situation, and I tend to keep my promises.

Found a bit I wrote many, many years ago while trying to translate my favorite Changeling the Dreaming OC to Changeling the Lost:
She burns from the inside out, the fire caressing her bones. She is slender and lovely and young, and has been all of these things for much longer than she can remember. When she moves, others are entranced, following her through the room with a chorus of little sighs.
Few can ever meet her gaze. Her eyes flare like pale stars above the slightly childish curve of her mouth, blinding any who look too long. Her lips are red as blood on the snow, and her hair the molten gold of the sun. Light follows her in a cloud-like haze, bubbling from her incandescent skin.
The flame pricks at her fingertips; golden light pours from the jagged scars slashed across her palms. In the cold and dark of the winter night, smoke hisses from between her bone-white teeth. But she is merely the vessel, not the flame.
The blaze consumes her, etching itself into her skeleton, tracing every fracture, every newly mended bone. She traces the outline as the light pours through her, proof of her Keeper’s good work. But she is not the fire. She keeps the flame trapped in the lantern of her body, and slowly it scorches its way out.
White roses bloom beneath her touch, then crumble to ash.
She is a lovely thing, her Keeper has told her, as he slips his hands around her waist and pulls her close. A charm against cold and shadow, a star to break the heart of the night. She ensnares the fire, but at what cost? She is as much its prisoner as it is hers. She does not doubt which of them will win, in the end.
