Rose Tico is floundering after the war - no home, no family, no purpose. When she is offered the opportunity to be part of a covert group tasked with identifying and neutralizing potential threats to the New Republic, she jumps at the chance.

It's only after their first mission that Rose learns her teammates' identities: an assassin, a spicerunner, a former stormtrooper, and the man who once ordered her execution.

But is he more than that?

Or is he the same cunning, self-serving tactician with his own hidden agenda?

As they train, plan, and execute missions, Rose begins to wonder if she has finally found her purpose. Maybe even a family - with women who fight and love as fiercely as sisters, a boy who needs her as much as she needs him, an overbearing droid, and even a cat.

Is Hux a part of that purpose? That family? Or will his secrets and their consequences destroy it all?

Les Très Riches Heures du Dernier Jedi 4/12 : Les enfants de Canto Bight

Claire @clairen45 et Aurélie effeuillent ce très beau livre d'images que fut l'Episode 8 - Le Dernier Jedi, sous la forme de 12 'heures' ou vignettes au fil de l'année 2020. 

Pour le mois d'avril et cette quatrième heure, Claire et Aurélie s'intéressent aux petits esclaves des écuries de Canto Bight. Détail cucul et inutile pour certains, illustration géniale des thèmes fondamentaux de Star Wars pour d'autres, les enfants sont à l'honneur et les LucasFilles en ont des étoiles plein les yeux.

Chapter 11 Excerpt

They were rummaging through the pantry when Rey felt the crack of Force energy gathering. Ben caught her gaze and together they sprinted into the foyer to find Poe hovering several feet off the ground. The pilot was hollering obscenities, while Archais chuckled in the corner. Finn and Rose stood off to the side bewildered as they watched Rey’s first pupil manipulate the Force to suspend Poe’s body.

Temiri was staring curiously at his work, one hand outstretched in the direction of the Commander.

Before Rey had a chance, Ben crossed the room to the boy’s side. “Put him down,” Ben instructed calmly.

She watched, fascinated, as her student listened to Ben’s guidance, carefully lowering Poe to the floor. Temiri appeared calm and collected next to the former Supreme Leader. He showed no signs of fear or intimidation. Instead, he was eager to show Ben how well he could control his power.

Regardless of his control, his use of the Force wasn’t acceptable. Rey knelt by her pupil. “Temiri, what were you thinking?” she asked.

The boy's eyes narrowed. “He called you a traitor.”
