A temperature blanket that I made my parents for Christmas. My dad figured out that someone was getting it for Christmas, but neither figured out that it was for the year that they got married and not 2022. Also, you can't see it in the pictures, but I added a silver crochet thread for the kids birthdays, gold for my parents birthdays, and there's a silver and gold row for their anniversary.
Air question
Misfortune's Keep is above the clouds, right? In 'My Dinner with Nadakhan' Gayle's journalism helicopter passes the clouds in order to see Djinninjago, but some clouds are still clean. What I'm getting at is, does this mean it's above the nimbostratus clouds? And if so, it should be -4*C there (or 24*F), so how the heck is anyone supposed to do anything at that temperature? Like most pirates are wearing shorts/&tank tops. Is it the sun? Even so, what do they do at night? Or on a windy day?
Thinking about the tactile feel and throw of the bakelite knobs.
today my weather app says it is 3° outside but it feels like -2°
I have never ever managed to understand how it can "feel" a different temperature than it "is". Like I understand wind chill factor and stuff but idk how this difference arises 😅
If someone who has this arcane knowledge wants to explain it to me like I'm developmentally disabled (which I am) I would greatly appreciate that!
