After staying in ponyville for upwards of a month Tempest shadow was asked by Twilight to visit the dragon lands on her behalf. Accepting the offer Tempest was sent via a spell to the border landing without warning.

“She could have warned before...never mind.”

Jumping up and brushing off some rubble. The unicorn looked around and was slightly joyful to be somewhere less soft and blindingly colorful.

“So this is the land of the dragons huh? Seems like this trip is gonna be worthwhile”

Months following the defeat of the Storm King and his armies. Tempest shadow his former second-in-command had been crashing in a room of Twilight’s castle to think over her past and what to do next. Spending the current day reading a book in the castles library Tempest had been talking and thinking to herself without turning the page. 

“I still don’t know if staying here was the right thing to do. I hope Twilight has not gotten sick of me being here to think things over.”

Sighing rather loudly the unicorn turned the page she had been on for an hour or more and kept reading to pass the time.

In the wake of the Storm King defeat and his army fleeing. Tempest Shadow former Commander and second-in-command to the Storm King fled the city with alot to think over and rethink. Feeling the need to travel around and repair what damage she help cause the unicorn made her way across Equestria.

“I guess it times to rest for abit the town is still awhile away...No pony around this area it seems and a nice shady spot. Yeah this’ll do”

sitting down and leaning against the tree. Tempest kept her guard up but still tried to rest for a bit before setting back off on her journey.

Following the defeat of the Storm King. His former second-in-command Tempest shadow was given a room at Twilight’s castle for as long as she needs. Staying at the castle Tempest took to running errands for Twilight whenever she needed. Making her way to the post office Tempest had her saddlebag ready to carry any packages for her friend.

“I hope Twilight has gotten only a few packages walking around this town gets mentally exhausting. Everypony is to cheery and carefree here”

“I’ve heard tales of Grogar and his rule over the land. I honestly don’t know if I would work with him seeing as we don’t know if he is truly alive”

With the Storm Kings victory and gaining all the power Equestrias princesses possessed. Due to her loyal service Tempest had her horn restored and was appointed as general of his armies. Given the task of scouring Twilight’s castle for powerful magical items Tempest was currently busting her way through the rooms searching.

“This castle is poorly designed not one wall of defense or any traps. Finding magical objects here is too easy.”

Walking past a room Tempest noticed a particular mirror and approached it seeing it shimmer with magic.

“Huh? I wonder what this is capable of maybe his excellency might be interested in it”

After the defeat of the Storm King Tempest shadow his former second-in-command was left without a purpose and decided to stay in ponyville within a room provided to her by Twilight. Sent by Twilight on an errand to help Applejack Tempest was curious about what this earth pony did for a living.

“So this is what Applejack does for a living huh? Working a farm seems impressive. Whatever she needs help I hope it’s not one of Twilight’s tricks for me to make more friends and bond.”

Walking through the path leading to Applejack’s house Tempest gazed around and nodded impressed at the size of the farm.

“Quite large for a farm. She must work pretty hard to keep it running”
