Who can be more balanced than a True Brujah? But Anselm did something even more difficult then simply following his bane. Cursed by true love for Danya (and after being dead and a ghost for a while) he managed to let her go, and simply accepted to be at her side as a friend. From there, he never let his sentiments get the best of him and achieved a perfect balance, even tolerating a broken heart.
