May Favorites

Another month, another list of my favorites. Let's get to them.

LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Cheek Palette - Not only is the formula amazing but the color selection is perfect for my skin tone. In my case, there is 2 highlighters and 4 blushes in this palette and all of them are beautiful. I do have a particular fondness for the highlight shade Fortune and the blush Caribbean but I have been using all the shades in this palette and nothing else in regards to blush. Again, I really love this palette and I'm considering getting another one as a back up! (I know this is limited edition but it is still available and probably will be for at least a few more weeks.)

Temptu X BoxyCharm Liquid Glow - I was so surprised by how much I ended up loving this liquid highlighter. When I first got my BoxyCharm box, I thought this might be too dark but this just blends into the skin and gives this beautiful lit from within glow. My favorite way to use this is to apply it to the high points of my face and blend it out. It looks beautiful on top of foundation or on bare skin. In case anyone is curious this is available on the Temptu website so if you want this or want another one, you can purchases and truthfully, I might be ordering another one!

Too Faced Sweet Peach palette - I know, iit has been in a favorites list before but I've been reaching for it a lot this past month. It being spring and all, I've been wearing more peachy and lighter neutral looks and this palette is really good for that. I don't really think this is a must have for everyone but personally, this is one of favorites to use especially for spring/summer season looks.

L'oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation (shade 101) - When I have been wearing foundation ( and not testing one out) this is all I've been using. I used to not like this foundation because it is a tiny bit yellow on my skin but I've found that if I use certain powders on top of this I don't notice the yellow. Honestly, the L'oreal foundations are my favorite from the drugstore and I've just been very into a more matte look with a subtle glow.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick in Salt Lyfe - I told you guys this would be in my favorites. I love the formula of this lipsticks! It applies very well, it's moisturizing, and is a beautiful color. With my skin tone, mauves usually look awesome on me and this one is basically my perfect color. I looks so natural and pretty on me. I'm gonna stop myself now, otherwise I will get gushing about this. Just know I love these, and I very highly recommend them!

*I wasn't going to include the next items because they were limited edition and currently unavailable but this brand tends to bring back limited edition shades that are really popular in other limited edition sets so I'm going to mention them. Sorry if you don't like it when people do this but again this brand has a habit of bringing back shades so hopefully they will bring these ones back because they are awesome.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadows in Koosh and Just for Fun - Just for Fun is a metallic peach with a gold flip and gold glitter. It has been perfect for very glittery peachy looks. Koosh is an ultra metallic silver taupe that I use on days when I don't feel like doing a lot with my eye look. Basically, I put koosh on the lid then I blend it out and I'm done. Again, I am a big fan of the super shock shadows in general but these have been my go to shades in May.
