Re-listening to @tenoko1 's old recording of 300 Things for the millionth time.
Fandom is such a beautiful thing and I am endlessly thankful for folks who take the time to make stories that last.

Re-listening to @tenoko1 's old recording of 300 Things for the millionth time.
Fandom is such a beautiful thing and I am endlessly thankful for folks who take the time to make stories that last.
I’ve literally listened to @tenoko1‘s podfic The Opposite of That so many times recently because I love it so much... So I drew a quick Femstiel cause I haven’t drawn much recently.
Hi! Do you know anyone who does GO podfics/ reads other people's fics? I can't always read myself but I love listening to others read. (If anyone enjoys reading stuff out loud, this is your sign to do it.) I've already found Podfixx (who is great) on Soundcloud but I've listened to most of the GO podfics she's done already.
Hello!
When searching on AO3 for podfics, I used this tag! Here’s a few people who I found that you might like:
Tenoko1
Djapchan
Literarion
If any of our followers have any podfic recommendations, please feel free to let us know!

Crowley stopped them in their trek, slipping his arm from Aziraphale’s grasp to face him, hands on his shoulders. “Are you sure you’re alright? A-are you having, like, a mid-life crisis or something now that Heaven’s cut you loose? You’re worrying me. What’s next? Cherry red sports car?”
Aziraphale reached up to pat Crowley’s hand in reassurance before they began walking again. “If I’m to live here, don’t you think it’s time I actually settled like I live here?”
This fic was also published as a podfic here.
Why I love this fic
I’ve already been a fan of @tenoko1‘s work back in the Supernatural fandom. And when I fell in love with Good Omens, I was thrilled to discover that one of my favorite writers was right there with me, writing beautiful fics about my new favorite characters.
This one takes place post-Apocalypse and Aziraphale decides that he’d like some change in his life. More specifically: he wants to renovate his flat. So he asks Crowley for help. And in the meantime he’ll just have to move in with his friend now, doesn’t he?
What I love about this fic is that it’s very soft and feels very warm and domestic. See that tag up there about coming home? Yeah, once you’ve finished reading this fic you will agree that that’s what this feels like. There’s no angst to speak of, Aziraphale and Crowley just spend lots of time together talking about interior design. And the description of the final look of the flat? *chef’s kiss*
*high five* Whoo! Go team of those no longer watching but still love the characters! I've, frankly, fallen out of love with fandom because fandom made it not fun anymore. All the fighting, negativity, trolling, casual consumption, etc. made me go, "Why am I doing this? It feels like work." then basically swan dived myself into the sun of warmth and happiness that is Good Omens because I could breathe again, and it was nice to have happy, alive characters who enjoy each other's company.
GOOD OMENS IS MY HAPPY PLACE. Star Trek did that for me too - when things were getting too intense with spn I jumped the fence and went to the Kirk/Spock fandom for a while and it was just fluffy and good and they love each other and nothing bad happened (except for the second movie but we don’t talk about that) and since canon isn’t currently happening everyone’s just super chill. I’m still have a sideblog and write k/s fanfic every once in a while.
I’m sorry you fell out of love with fandom, but it sounds like detaching yourself from it was a great choice for you! stepping away from canon actually made me enjoy fandom more. probably because I could just kinda walk away from any current arguments/anger about canon and just happily play with dean and cas fanfic dolls in my delusional little corner lol
What a horribly rude thing to say! What is wrong with people?
I’ve asked myself that very same question too frequently. It takes so, so much effort to be mean. Rudeness for the sake of rudeness is inconceivable to me. Hannibal said it best, of course:

I checked your Redbubble, but none of your lovely Good Omens art seems to be available?
Hello, unfortunately i haven’t updated my Redbubble shop in a long time, and frankly i’m a little uncomfortable about selling fanart now, so it’s highly improbable that i’d put any of my Good Omens pics in there)
i’m thinking about deleting that shop for good
(and also i do not have enough willpower to finish them into sellable condition anyway)))
