also, while searching, I think his birthday is meant to be a pun ?? tenpach is sometimes written as てんぱち(tenpachi) 10/8 can be read as ten/hachi(てんはち). Is that lore relevant? No, but hey isn’t that fun

Meet Juki ! Tenpatch(Errormare) and Moku(CrossInk) child ! She was more of an accident than anything. She goes by she/her !

DESIGN NOTES :

-> Juki's name comes from a sewing machine brand. I also thought it was fitting for her two parents.

-> Her button eye was stitched up by herself ! It hides a birth defect(?).

-> The gem on her neck frills is like a soul contender ! She doesn't really have a soul.

-> Her clothes are clothes she finds in the trash and sew back up.

-> The bow behind her back is connected to the sewing needles, who are, in fact, sentient. They tend to poke at things around them. Juki can take back control when feeling strong emotions to attack.

LORE :

Juki's parents, Moku and Tenpatch, had her when they grew up of course, but also by accident.

She was born without an eyelights/actual eye socket ! Due to being made by accident her parents didn't really know how to raise a child.

However as she grew up, she also grew a fascination for sewing ! Even though she could have gotten an ocular prosthetis for her eye, she preferred to use a specially made button for it.

That one scene from Little selkie when Nightmare stops Tenpatch from sinking a ship, and decides to finish the job. This is what I imagined it looking like. I really enjoy your work and I'm having a lot of fun reading Little Selkie.

It's been a while since anyone's sent an ask about Little Selkie! And with fanart too! You captured this scene perfectly - Tenpatch doing his darned best to sink the ship that hurt Pallet Roller, him being forced to leave, the humans cheering, THEN Nightmare coming up and showing the humans just how badly they messed up.
