I’ve been rereading Sabriel by Garth Nix and I think Sabriel’s father Terciel is my new favourite character. He’s so awesome and good-hearted and loving and I wish we got to see more of him in the series.

I can’t wait to read Terciel and Elinor and find out about young Terciel and how he met Sabriel’s mother! :D

I know everyone talks about / re posts the cover art of earlier/ later editions, but honestly??? these are my absolute favourite and nothing anyone can say will make me think any differently. I think them a pretty great encapsulation of the series as a whole - don’t get me wrong I think the new designs by Sebastian Ciaffaglione are brilliant in their own way its just that this was the cover of my copy when I first read lirael at what? 11? it stuck with me for such a long time and i just....

Also when i went to doctor google to look for this cover i realised that there is some fucking incredible fan art out there like oh my god... you talented, talented, mages of drawing and art thank you for putting that out there for the world and allowing my inner 12 year old and also 25 year old self so happy and inspired.

And another thing??? New old kingdom book coming out 2021 whaatttt
