I was thinking of coining a term "acebody". It's kinda like arogender, but not a gender. It's because I was thinking about my experience as an ace person again, thinking about whether "acegender" would fit my experience. But I didn't feel it was to do with my gender. I thought about the term "angenital", which I believe means not wanting to have genitalia. That's not what I feel either. I've realised I'm fine with what my genitals are, I just don't want them to be sexualised. It is not a gender though, as it's how I want my body to be perceived in relation to sexual acts, not how I want people perceive me, or how I want my body to be perceived in relation to gender. I don't want my body to have anything to with sex. I don't want it to be perceived as having anything to do with sex. I feel like other people, allo people, view their bodies sexually; how much of the time and to what extent I can't say, but I think generally, the way they act and talk, I keep being reminded that they seem to view themselves in a way, sexually, that I don't relate to at all. Not just in terms of not wanting sex or not experiencing attraction to others, but in terms of not viewing my body as a sexual thing at all. I don't just want to use the term to asexual to describe this experience, since although it is an ace experience (or seems to be), it's more specific than that. I want to specifically highlight that this is about my body, not my attraction or sexual desires. It's worth noting that (although I myself am a "flat out" ace (we really need a better term for that lol)) in this way I do believe grey-aces could use the term too, if they found it useful.
I will say there is an issue with this term, as that it refers specifically to an experience, I believe, of specifically sex-repulsed asexuals, yet it uses the term "ace" to refer to it - this ignores the fact that certain sex-favourable or grey asexuals exist who may view themselves sexually in a way that would make them not acebodied. However, you could have the same or similar criticism of arogender in regards to it's separation from romance despite romance-favourable and grey aromantic existing; since there doesn't seem to be this concern with arogender (or I haven't seen any), I'm not sure whether to consider this a problem or not with acebody/ied.
It's also worth noting that, like any other part of the ace spectrum, this is not shaming those who have/like sex or who view themselves sexually. In a way, this term "acebody" actually sort of relies on considering sexual people equally, since I'm coining it out of a desire to have a term that explains how I feel different from those who I'm, often, surrounded by without being disrespectful; to express an intrinsic part of my identity, as well as some boundaries, in a way that is succinct and impactful while holding no shame over others. It is simply about a difference, that I feel is really quite difficult to express, highlight, or make people genuinely understand, without this new term. And that's why I want to coin it.
