Stephen: By the way, last night in your sleep told me that smooth jazz could be smoother. What does that mean?
Tony: I don’t know, but maybe i was onto something there.

Pink Floyd ~ Terminal Frost
Tony Levin ended up being present in so many strange places we all become quite baffled. I mean, I laugh at the fact he collaborated with Pink Floyd on A Temporary Lapse Of Reason, though we have to understand the version of the group by Gilmour was a lighter one and not that much of classic rock one. However, one shouldn't take this as a criticism. Here's my comparison – Waters was more interested in being a polemicist, whereas Gilmour seemed to be in favour of a discussion. Sure, Pink Floyd 2.0 were less confrontative than before, though they gained a sense of communication, which the previous variant lacked. Sure, the latter had a wish to talk to us, yet that edition also planned to win us over. Gilmour's group? Listening is more preferable.
