10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

Considering he was brainwashed and constantly told not to bother thinking or muse on things that don’t concern his objectives or orders, often has his questions ignored, he definitely isn’t much of an intellectual. 

Regarding book smarts and knowledge in general, his knowledge base is very limited and most of the time he’s just quoting someone else. Considering the explanations he’s given aren’t things he understands himself entirely.

He hadn’t really been looking for life advice- especially not from a kid -but he doesn’t really fight it. He’s probably just trying to be helpful; Jay knows that. Not that it does him much good. He makes a doubtful noise, putting his hands back in the pocket of his coat. He probably looks like a mess today.

“Yeah, I guess so,” he responds noncommittally, letting his eyes wander away and across the road. Can there even be growth for someone like him? Has he grown at all in the last few years? He wants to think so, but he has his doubts. “It’s hard to tell when it’s just a slow process or no process, though.”

she doesn’t dislike dogs. she doesn’t dislike any animals-- they either go by instinct or are manipulated by humans. but that didn’t mean she particularly likes dogs. so when one came up and stared at her crepe, she pouted at it.

            “ dogs can’t have any of this. probably. shoo. ”

...but it was fluffy. and she really wanted to pet it. the hand that was outstretched to wave it off stopped and hovered over its head. she sighed and retracted her hand to take one of her extra napkins and set some strawberries on it. 

            “ that’s all you’re getting!! and you better let me get a good pat in for my generosity. ”
