As pointless as these games all seemed, some of these competitions looked like they could be good practice to test his abilities and mechanical skills. Being ‘victorious’ in these games seemed like no issue at all.  

However, for the ‘volleyball’ event it seems he needed to procure a partner. Looks like that was his mission for the time being.

“Uh…”

He… didn’t have a name? Well, it would explain why he said he wasn’t Lucas, but this was just plain confusing. So much for trying to make this whole situation easier to understand…

“Then, then…” she pauses, letting go of her hair and bringing a finger to her chin in thought, “You’ll be Lucas until I think of a better name! Okay? Okay! But… but, I’ve never heard of someone not having a name, so… so, that’s weird!” At least she wasn’t feeling so upset anymore; now it was just all confusion. Now she just wanted to put this all behind her.

“Hey, do you wanna go exploring, Lucas? Or – or we could go play! Or we can talk an’ get ‘ta know each other better? Uh, whad’da you wanna do…?”

He just pauses for a few moments upon hearing this recommendation, forming a somewhat confused look on his face. So this girl was going to call him ‘Lucas’ now? He supposed there wasn’t too much of a problem with that, unless she managed to find this person named ‘Lucas’, that would just make things very confusing.

Although being named ‘Lucas’ after she thought he was this person seemed very odd... did she still believe in that ridiculous notion that he was that person?

Nonetheless, it looked like he’ll be called ‘Lucas’ until further notice.

“I suppose you can accompany me.“

“I was planning on scoping the area.”

Considering how this girl intended on sticking around, he figured there was no point in trying get rid of her, perhaps she’ll grow bored and do something else in time.

Considering the conflicting opinions he’s heard from numerous people, such as him being a mechanical chimera with human needs and reasoning or him an emotionless killing machine.

It’s fairly simple; back in his own world, once he has rested and recharged his energy, he locates Dr. Andonuts to receive daily maintenance check and to see if his mechanical functions are working properly, especially considering his most recent missions have taken a toll and damaged him.

Once that’s finished, he waits in his room and awaits for his next orders. During his free time he doesn’t really do much of anything except think to himself, sometimes he asks questions when going through daily maintenance but most of the time he doesn’t receive a proper answer or told that such questions are irrelevant. 

Here in this city? He doesn’t have much of a routine...

Considering he was brainwashed and constantly told not to bother thinking or muse on things that don’t concern his objectives or orders, often has his questions ignored, he definitely isn’t much of an intellectual. 

Regarding book smarts and knowledge in general, his knowledge base is very limited and most of the time he’s just quoting someone else. Considering the explanations he’s given aren’t things he understands himself entirely.

Well for starters, he doesn’t have any personal life objectives or any objectives in general that concern himself  The only objectives that matter to him are orders and commands from Master Porky and his superiors. 

In regards to pursuing said goals of his superiors, he will stop at nothing to achieve said goals, even if it means resorting to excessive measures to get things done.

He’s all action and mostly keeps his thoughts to himself, if any. 

To most people, the Masked Man is an enigma. He is someone of little words who only makes an appearance when something needs to be done or when an order is given. The only time he speaks is when an order needs to be communicated out to his underlings, when there’s a problem or when something needs to be said.

Her smile disappears now. He wasn’t Lucas…? That was strange. Even if he didn’t recognize her, he should’ve recognized his own name… unless she hadn’t remembered his name correctly. Still, she was certain that this boy – whatever his name was – used to be her friend, so no matter how upsetting this was, she wasn’t going to just leave him alone.

“I… I guess. But – but it’s been a long time, so… so maybe I won’t find him.” Though she very much wanted ‘Lucas’ to grin and say it was a joke, or at least look at her like he recognized her… It hurt to hear him talk so stoically, but Emi was used to being disappointed, which was why she wasn’t crying right now. That, and the amusement park around them didn’t seem like a good place to start crying.

She kept a grip on her hair just in case he said something that hurt even more, but she forces another smile, still sounding a bit upset but not as close to tears as before. “But, um, it’s okay, ‘cause I found you instead! An’ I’m sure we’ll be friends just – just like me an’ Lucas were…! Oh, what’s – what’s your name, then? If you’re not Lucas…”

He just stood there for a few moments, despite asking about this ‘Lucas’ and intending to give an answer on where this girl could look for ‘Lucas’, it didn’t prove to be successful.

Now it just seemed this girl wanted to stick around him further, which was troublesome.

"Wouldn’t it be more productive to continue to search for your ‘Lucas’?”

Upon being asked what his ‘name’ was, he wasn’t certain how to answer this question. He was never really given a ‘name’, Master Porky didn’t seem to think it was necessary as in his own words, humanizing a weapon or a toy was just silly. His subordinate pigmask infantry never bothered addressing him anything outside of ‘Sir’ and ‘Commander’ either, so the thought of a ‘name’ never seemed important or relevant to him before.

“I don’t have a ‘name’, it’s unnecessary to my purpose.”

Considering this child wasn’t part of the pigmask army, her addressing him as commander or sir was inaccurate. Considering how secluded he was to the public and the citizens outside of the Empire Porky Building, this problem was never really an issue until now.

“You can address me however you like, its no concern to me.”

He blinks for a few moments, a little confused at this woman’s first statement. Wasn’t asking someone to accomplish a goal the same as an order or a command?

This woman’s second explanation made a bit more sense to him, though ‘growing’ was probably a more figurative sense. 

“Comfortable? Having similar experiences would make explanations and commands far more simple and streamlined, so... yes?”

“If that’s the case, do people take amusement in having mutual experiences and ‘interests’? How does that pertain to ‘growing’ though?“
