The Bruery Terreux Goses Are Red (Picked up at Total Wine). A 3 of 4. On the one hand, this has a really nice touch of cherry, raspberry, and some red-wine like qualities in the nose, along with a bit of salt. On the other hand, it is very, very sour, and the finish is astringent. I really like the combination, but it feels just slightly unbalanced, and it’s hard to get through a full can. Would be just about perfect in smaller doses, or with slightly less sourness.

The Bruery Frucht Cucumber (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Really, really enjoyable -- smells just slightly of cucumber and some lime. The body has a nice great clean cucumber flavor up front, and quickly fades to a strong, almost puckering sourness and acidity with some oak. Drinks much bigger than 4.3%, and very refreshing. Awesome.
