You're just sketching in your sketchbook with one of your cats curled up next to you, the storm outside providing a nice, peaceful ambience for you, when the knocking on your front door calls your attention. Sir Vincent lifts his head and looks right at the door, while Madame Catzpaw freezes across the room to stare a moment and bolt down the hallway.
You're surprised, not expecting visitors, but you quietly set down your materials and rise from your comfortable position on the couch, quickly grabbing a pair of sweats from the pile of clean clothes on the dryer near the front door and pulling them on over your boxer briefs. You're not even wearing your binder and that makes you wary as you approach the front door, unlocking it and opening it only to find a stranger standing there at your door step, soaked to the bone. At first glance, he looked familiar-- but the person he reminded you of carried himself differently, and they were assuredly not the same person.
"Uh, shit, hello. You look like you could maybe use a towel?" Tentatively, your eyes wide behind your aviators, you open your door more for him and quickly step back toward the dryer to look for a clean towel.
