Although some iterations of Sentinel Prime range from outright villains to misguided heroes, there are many versions who are, if not "nice", fundamentally good individuals at Spark... even if they tend to be belligerent, bullish, and prone to underestimating dire threats. The Sentinel Prime who defeated Trannis believed that he had broken the proto-Decepticon war machine, but Megatron’s ascent to the position of Decepticon leader proved him fatally wrong. The Sentinel Prime who led the Red Order was a strong, just leader, but his overconfidence in his own strength led to his demise at the hands of Terrormander. And First Senator Sentinel Prime, current head of the Cybertronian Senate, genuinely seems to have the best interests of his Cybertron at Spark—it is a pity that Megatron has played on his notorious temper to pave the way for a populist Decepticon uprising.
