Hi! I'm sorry if this is too random a ship, but I had a really funny thing happen on my TDL island where Teruteru and Fuyuhiko fell head over heels for each other, and I decided to let it happen. Normally I'm more of a "canon" ship person where the characters interact a lot or have some kind of narrative connection (i.e. fuyu///peko), but I keep trying to think about how on earth teruhiko could happen and what might bring them together. If you don't have any ideas it's ok! I just hoped I could indulge your rarepair brain somehow hehe :)

Rarepair enjoyer though I am, I have to admit I was ever too distracted by the komahanas of life (sole human being distracted by the komahanas of life) to think of this one... Though your max rizz Teruteru truly deserves the consideration, and for the sake of science I will try to consider what might bring us onwards... Towards teruhiko...

I guess the first thing to pop to mind is a theme of family. Mostly because Teruteru is a character centered around this topic, in the way he is motivated by caring for his mother and his Free Time Events also being related to him being brought back to those homely roots past the urge to make himself seem fancier than he actually is. Fuyuhiko conversely has a turbulent family situation, where he seemed mostly attached to his sister as he describes disagreements between his mother and father with very violent implications. This seems like a full contrast, but Fuyuhiko despite that history is someone who also holds this level of utmost respect for the people that he actually cares about, something that Teruteru seems to have for his mother in particular. I think that if Fuyuhiko is made to see that in some way, he would find himself putting to perspective the rest of his personality, and potentially be perplexed as to why he is the way he is by default otherwise. You know, since probably someone like Teruteru wouldn't strike him as dedicated as a person at all.

Actually Teruteru was the guy talking about Peko and her underwear like right at the beginning of the game ohhhhh the cookery is going to be wack but bear with me so Fuyuhiko and Peko's relationship is something that Fuyuhiko hides from everyone at first, right? It's not exactly known where that would stand in a peaceful AU, but currently having the terrible idea that essentially, the person to unravel this or to know about this would be Teruteru but on account of talking about Peko's underwear while Fuyuhiko is present (Fuyuhiko wasn't there when Teruteru guessed at the underwear Peko had in-game since he was still distant from everybody at the time) since classroom setting and Fuyuhiko like flips his desk like probably furious since it's not like it's the same context in the chapter 1 class trial where Fuyuhiko seemed concerned about Peko being poisoned that he extended the matter and all the teasing slipped past, I feel like Peko being harrassed in that way about what panties she's wearing would be considerably worse? Or at least let's go with that right now? Like Fuyuhiko flips his desk that he's had enough of Teruteru's bullshit just trying saying that again you're swimming with the fishes and Teruteru would be shooketh I think he would wonder what's wrong because he's always been the lovable pervert he is so why would Fuyuhiko be freaking out now but that then he would connect dots about how Fuyuhiko must be into Peko this entire time

But I don't think Teruteru would talk to Fuyuhiko about it, rather that being threatened by Fuyuhiko would make him not want to approach at all but he would talk about how Fuyuhiko is probably into Peko to characters like Kazuichi, and so Kazuichi might be nosy enough to want to know more and would start observing and he would find that they totally do seem to be gone from the classroom at the same time every now and again and so Kazuichi wants to spy on them and drags Teruteru because it's his fault!! but AAAAAAA NOOOO I'M GONNA DIEEEEEE and Peko would probably intercept them beforehand because she would know from miles away that there are people planning to spy on Fuyuhiko but would also figure that neither Kazuichi or Teruteru would have even a fraction of the necessary prowess to harm Fuyuhiko under her watch and are probably up to something harmless so she asks what's going on and they are fumbling and tumbling over how to explain when Kazuichi blurts about how the two could be dating and Peko I think would be also shooketh and flustered but would revert to a stoic mood where she would very clearly say That would be impossible. because it's like early on into school life so I'm thinking of this progression where Peko wouldn't have that same resolve as in her final Free Time Event and would just eerily talk about how her and Fuyuhiko dating would be impossible and that that's just how it is and I think both Kazuichi and Teruteru would feel bad here because it looked like they made Peko sad and they both probably would like Peko, she tries her best to help the class out to begin and so they go apologize to her but Fuyuhiko sees this and he's thinking Teruteru could be up to something again this time with Kazuichi involved but Peko stops him coldly saying that it isn't good to jump to misunderstandings and that she is fine without protection, in an attempt to keep with the distance she was ordered as she's noted from their behaviour that they're garnering suspicion, but Fuyuhiko is bewildered and steps back and stomps away

Somehow they made it worse... I'm about to bring out a supportive Chisa Yukizome here who has been hovering over this situation for a while and is like The solution's right under your noses. After all, what do you think always brings people together? and this would be about food and Teruteru would instantly get the idea and then Chiaki would get involved and a party would happen where unlike the one from despair arc episode 2 there are none aphrodisiacs (though I must say for the people who don't remember that actually it wasn't Teruteru who put the aphrodisiac in the food in the anime! it was Hiyoko!!) and Kazuichi is going up to Fuyuhiko and there is this circle made of people talking while eating where Fuyuhiko and Peko are in the same place and multiple people Mahiru and Ibuki included are there watching the two awkwardly interact until it finally becomes normal again and Teruteru and Kazuichi are proud of themselves again... At which point Fuyuhiko ends up thinking there's no way to fully hide it so it's revealed they're childhood friends but only that, but then there could be like an event that Chiaki set up where Teruteru is in charge of the food again as per usual, but Teruteru is knocked out by a killer who puts poison in his food but as Teruteru regains consciousness he notices Peko taking that assassin out and is petrified enough Peko didn't notice and he gets carried to the infirmary the food is ruined but now Teruteru is scared again

This is gonna be my personal impression but Teruteru seems like he really hates danger and takes these things seriously but that probably while also being scared and out of it people would ask what's wrong and he's like What do you mean, 'What's wrong'? It's a completely normal day today, I'm perfectly fine but he is not fine and is sort of connecting a few dots in his head that Peko was in Fuyuhiko's vicinity and so while everyone is acting normal, that itself would set Teruteru off to feel like going back home for a bit but in the process (I'm gonna guess it'd be something you could do in break time or something) Fuyuhiko is also going to be returning home and they meet up midway with Teruteru extra fidgety like F F Fuyuhiko and if anything Fuyuhiko would sort of remember that it was Teruteru and Kazuichi who had first planned to get him back on better terms with Peko so he'd be in a different mindset from Teruteru here because I also have this impression that Fuyuhiko is sort of more fussy about debts and commitments and etc and would be like Well, you know... People rely on you. With the food, I mean... Peko was also happy about it and Teruteru would be seeing that this is sincere and think a bit and ask if Fuyuhiko's going home like the Kuzuryu clan and Fuyuhiko would say well yeah aren't you also going home and Teruteru would be like and Peko is going with you, isn't she? but Fuyuhiko would be surprised but I think here Peko could come in from the shadows like So you really were still conscious on that day... and Fuyuhiko would get filled in on the situation and it's like Normally, it'd be reason to silence you, but I also don't wanna start shit in the academy... Guess it'd have to be in the open somewhere down the line and Teruteru gets the exposition we got from Chapter 2 which to him is truly another world but I guess with maybe a bit less drama and focus on killing, but Teruteru could understand then how Peko was so sure it would be impossible to date Fuyuhiko back then because she would be saying here how she's a tool and Fuyuhiko would protest against that, in an instance where Teruteru and Fuyuhiko are on the same page, but Teruteru is still taking everything in and goes off to visit his mother

I wonder how he would be talking to his mother? I feel like if he cares as much about her as he does, that he could be the type to talk about her about certain things that happen in his life because he'd want support and to fill her in but not tell her everything everything in full context because then he wouldn't want to actually worry her about things that he should solve himself because she'll already have enough on her plate, being sick and also taking over the diner and all, so I think his mother could ask how it's been in Hope's Peak Academy and Teruteru would talk about all the friends he made and how this (cute and well-endowed) girl Chiaki organizes all these hangouts and people of course have been relying on him for the food which reminds him of what Fuyuhiko told him so he pauses and his mother could be like ? and Teruteru would be oh it's nothing probably in thick dialect but now he's thinking about it and I think it could be interesting for Teruteru's perspective to potentially be affected by the way he talks about people and food. To him, desire is common across all things people long for, so food and sex are intricately related or at least that was a takeaway I had from his free time events, and the way he tries to think of the statue as possible to cook, it makes me think about how maybe he would see this matter of people as tools like how it could be supposed a person could be an ingredient, but that in the end... Even if it could be cooked in a delicious way, it wouldn't put a smile to everyone's faces. Teruteru could probably think up the people who would be into that but he's about to ignore them for the sake of argument I'm sorry--

But so then he'd return to the academy and he would be cooking and he would call Peko but Fuyuhiko would want to accompany her just in case and so he would serve a dish from his mom's recipes (disclaimer he'll call it something french for sure) and Peko would be in awe because of the warmth coming from this dish and so would Fuyuhiko, and Teruteru would say that it's something all people can feel. If you can smile like that eating my delicious dishes, then you're person for sure! So, while we're together, let's leave stuff like living tools and whatnot at tantalizing fantasies in our heads! and they would be surprised, except unable to completely be impressed on account of the last words, and I don't think Peko would say anything and just thank Teruteru for the food while instead Fuyuhiko would stick around because like There's stuff in there you didn't need to yap, but other than that... I agree with what you said. but that it would perplex Fuyuhiko because this guy looks like he's objectifying women as far as the eye can see, but he actually can think in that kind of normal way. And I think this could kickstart Teruteru talking about his viewpoint. In that sense, we could dig into nuance of it, where lust is natural and not degrading, except I think Fuyuhiko would still say that there's a limit to it. There could be similar conversations because Fuyuhiko would linger for Teruteru a few times, where I think we could go full circle on Fuyuhiko making the point about his family. Would your mother be proud of you like that? Harrassing the girls like that and I think that could hit Teruteru a bit because at least in terms of headcanon right now I feel like maybe Teruteru would want to be someone his mother would be proud of and it's why he's in Hope's Peak right now and that he probably doesn't have that shining a history where he was mostly focused on being responsible for her and the diner

But that Teruteru would say that he's being honest to his desires, and I think Fuyuhiko would say that's not true because You don't want anything to do with Peko, right? You wouldn't have done that stunt otherwise and I guess it would be parsed through the nuance of like Peko is cute and Teruteru would be excited thinking about her in those ways but that it's a different thing to like date her let's headcanon Teruteru isn't into NTR and Fuyuhiko would grumble grumble out of there like about how he's a hopeless case, and I think Kazuichi could wonder why Teruteru has been hanging out with Fuyuhiko lately and Teruteru himself would be confused about this because he keeps getting lectured... It's actually kind of a pain... There's further headcanon I'll have to activate here but I'm gonna think that maybe Teruteru doesn't really like to wrack his brain on things that are complex and so Fuyuhiko's presence having made him think to this degree when probably generally he'd just want happy and sexy things in his life would make him kind of burdensome but that at the same time, probably his remark about making his mother proud is still stuck with him in a way we can pull the final free time event content where by being reminded of what's important he would actually be thankful to Fuyuhiko, and I think that while he would be saying perverted stuff forever that we can maybe drop stuff to the level of what he was doing to Sonia at the start of the game and yes we've already used this text amount just to set up a scenario in which these two characters are talking at all we still need to actually resolve things

Though this has the strange feeling of having finished a common route like maybe if I ever had a Teruteru/Peko ask I could as if continue from this point to branch off to her wow but the real hell begins here because so far, I've been improvising off of the concept where I would maybe take advantage of the fact that Fuyuhiko and Peko through enough misunderstanding and communication think that their feelings aren't returned to have some kind of separation that is nonetheless not tragic because I would want something positive for Peko? I'm not that big a fan of resolving these things in a shafting or tragic manner this is literally just personal sensibility which is why instinctively I've put this scenario in a position where Peko exists meaningfully but now because of that I still have to consider how to resolve their feelings here in a way that would have Fuyuhiko and Teruteru get together? This is very hard to imagine despite all this set-up because since they like each other, how is this separation not going to be tragic... but isn't it kind of horrible to have a scenario that's essentially as if Teruteru was Fuyuhiko's rebound? wouldn't be kind of terrible? and it would happen whether there is this separation or whether Peko dates I don't know Mahiru or Akane or whoever because if Fuyuhiko liked Peko then that would be kind of depressing I dare say so in other words is Teruteru fated to be Fuyuhiko's rebound forever ???? I feel like someone as committed as Fuyuhiko wouldn't have this process of liking Teruteru while Peko is in his mind because he would probably be loyal to her as he would be loyal in general, so then I feel like Peko would need to exit the stage of viable Fuyuhiko options for Fuyuhiko to have to take that accept that and move on so in other words

Is Teruteru fated to be Fuyuhiko's rebound forever ?????

You know I suppose at least he wouldn't be a rebound that was the direct cause of any grief from Peko and wouldn't be hated by her either?? Is this the compromise we have to make..... Rebound time... The idea is there would be another fight based on Fuyuhiko trying to take a stand about Peko like that she wouldn't be a tool but that this gets misunderstood by Peko and this would separate them to a point they wonder if they even understand one another and Peko decides to put some distance not like physically but in terms of wondering if she only causes Fuyuhiko grief and that Fuyuhiko would be devastated because Peko would caution him about keep her distance for good and Fuyuhiko would have to find himself moving on from the idea that Peko would ever like him the same way he does her, though I feel like even then he wouldn't accept her as his tool but that he would have to accept that because she considered herself that way, that she wouldn't feel anything for him while everyone is picking the pieces up from this massive fight because they all thought they loved each other big time what gives?

But pulling out the supportive Chisa who would if anything advise that it would be best that they get some distance for now instead of forcing things back since they each have their feelings and circumstances and part of me is thinking it maybe would be the chance for Fuyuhiko to despite thinking Peko would never love him to want to have Peko no longer be you know actually his tool since if anything if being with him is painful he'd want her to live a proper life and happy, though this decision hurts Peko further since it would give her that feeling that she had acted as if human and failed in her duties, now I'm not sure what exactly would happen to Peko if she were released from being Fuyuhiko's bodyguard but I'm not sure she would be killed or anything like that that's why I'm not thinking to this type of drama and instead that Peko from being the Ultimate Swordswoman would have a type of title and reputation that would make her draw attention anyway by now and so she would become just a student but that would mean Peko would have to adapt to this and live alone, probably Natsumi would be asking about her it could be kind of sad but at the same time it would be the opportunity for her to live out without thinking of Fuyuhiko, I think the girlies would hover around her at this time and the guys would hover around Fuyuhiko because both are sad for a while but in a way they end up concluding that maybe it was for the best and would at some point talk again but in few words like How are you doing? and stuff like that

I think at around this time Teruteru would be going back home again, and one thing I'd guess is that Teruteru would have at first not wanted people to accompany him? That he wouldn't want them to see him living in the utter countryside when he's trying to keep that extravagant image but I feel like the point of the free time events and how in Island Mode it culminates to Teruteru wanting to introduce Hajime to his mother, that with that type of development, he would be more open to the idea which is why I want to flip it around Teruteru would extend the invitation to Fuyuhiko! Now, I was supposed to be bringing my future wife with me next time I came home... Fuyuhiko like You what-- But I'll make an exception just for you! I owe you a lot, after all... and to me the reason it's not Peko is because then that would bring that type of misunderstanding and she's been doing alright with the girlies and also that's not branch on this visual novel so it's time to go to the middle of absolute nowhere yayyy

I think here would be funky for Fuyuhiko in the sense that it would all be very different and there's nothing around and also Teruteru would be acting as if he knew the people and places while Fuyuhiko would probably lay relatively low, then they'd meet his mother and I don't want to get too deep into headcanon about how she's like because there's not much we can draw from but let's assume she would be happy since it's rare Teruteru has her meet anyone so this must be a really good friend and Teruteru would be kind of nervous about that like W-well, something like that, kind of with Fuyuhiko not saying anything except like about the diner after probably politely introducing himself since the impression I had of him from the game is that he seemed particular about manners of this type as part of his upbringing which would have Teruteru's mother probably maybe surprised and I think generically this could be an arc where Fuyuhiko could be eating food from the diner and being like Well, I get why you invited me now... Didn't think it'd get any better, but compared to when we were at the academy, and chowing down here... It's really not the same and this is also calling back to Teruteru having said something to this effect in Island Mode and Teruteru would be maybe reacting like So you're saying, but I don't see you reacting accordingly! because Fuyuhiko is serious and not like smiling and happy even though I'd guess part of the reason was also to have Fuyuhiko cheer up to some degree and Fuyuhiko could be like Huh?? and that logic would be presented here and Fuyuhiko be looking to the side like I'm not about to smile at everything like a toddler! but whaaa last time you looked exactly like that-- What did you just say about me?! AAAAA That's not what I meant i if anything I could still fantasize about you towering over me and not even I-- SHUT UP You're as gross as ever !! Fuyuhiko struggling to keep in his seat to finish the food as the banter with Teruteru becomes increasingly wack but in a way Teruteru seems to have gotten the idea that Fuyuhiko wouldn't actually do anything to him from the way he speaks and Fuyuhiko also figured Teruteru wasn't talking about Fuyuhiko being a toddler and so while Fuyuhiko could end the matter about wanting the key to his guest room so he can't creep in, Teruteru could still talk about how his if anything would always be open for him and Fuyuhiko would think that probably he doesn't mean that... Or does he

I think here we could have to unfortunately sacrifice our supportive Teruteru's mom where her condition would get worse, Fuyuhiko would be with Teruteru to get her to a hospital but then again it's kind of in the middle of nowhere so I'd guess that it would take forever to get to the hospital but at the same time one thing I'm thinking might be funky about the two is both technically are kind of intense when angry and so Fuyuhiko could get like the one local with a car to help despite the fact he was hella busy, but Teruteru would also put his foot down on the matter to follow up as Fuyuhiko is awed to the side as they get to the ER and breathe out and Teruteru would talk about how it's a shame Fuyuhiko had to see this, on the logic that I feel like Teruteru is the type to think of how the other party is feeling also as a way not to have to think of this for himself but Fuyuhiko would be the other way around so then it would be like who cares about that, you're the one going through this and Teruteru would sort of pause like because he didn't want to think about it, and Fuyuhiko could maybe notice and apologize. I'm frequenting the school of happy endings so Teruteru's mother is going to recover the next day but both Teruteru and Fuyuhiko were there that day and Fuyuhiko did not get secretly harrassed that day, though he will joke about it because he was there first thing with his mother and it turns out everything was okay YOU'RE JOKING THOUGH RIGHT (he was Fuyuhiko, don't worry) and then Teruteru would thank him for real there's a whole meal time to celebrate and this would have a sort of close on the Teruteru side of things where Fuyuhiko would see different angles from Teruteru that he could potentially or not respect or rather he himself would be surprised that he's getting used to Teruteru of all people though at that point I'd guess in the academy he'd be hanging out with people like Kazuichi and then also him so you know, but the point here is gonna be that I'm probably? going to need a switcheroo like a continuation where it's the other way around and Teruteru gets roped into something Fuyuhiko-related but that it would also somehow have a positive outcome

My brain is coming up with this in media res of Teruteru in a kitchen just shaking in his booties for a bit like how did this happen and it flashes back to Fuyuhiko having had to go back to his own place and he's meeting some respected people in his family and it's a big occasion but the cook died or something Fuyuhiko asks Teruteru and he has the immediate instinct to refuse except I don't know Nagito appears from out of nowhere like How wonderful! So Teruteru will be presented with the chance to manifest his talent and contribute to the politics of the Kuzuryu Clan! and Fuyuhiko would be like It's not that serious and Nagito is like Oh, really? With all the anecdotes in history about food, I figured it wasn't going to be much different but I suppose that's for the best. If it's an opportunity like this, I'm sure the Ultimate Chef could never refuse! like tiers of not at all purposeful peer pressure packed on Teruteru at which point he folds he is being considered cool and talented so he folds and now is there one moment shaking in his booties but another he just does that serious angy face and steels himself like this is my territory I can't die because my food will never be shit!! and Fuyuhiko who was going to check up on Teruteru sees him intensely fired up and decides to leave him alone except there could be this guy in that dinner table and he's pretending the food is actually terrible call the chef in who made this crap and Fuyuhiko would be like say what but Teruteru has had himself that experience of people like that and while called and is there with a butcher knife for the next dish he was gonna make like intensely intimidating about asking what it is that could be changed except it turns out plot twist an assassination attempt was gonna take place here, Fuyuhiko covers for Teruteru of all people, Teruteru is now once again shaking in booties but he was also holding a tray and there's a sort of shoot out happening because let's make it happen it's Danganronpa anyway they somehow manage to both get out of there unscathed and people from Fuyuhiko's family are impressed at this Teruteru guy We gotta call you back in again some other time while Teruteru is holding back the urge to shake his head but Fuyuhiko would be there like Right? He doesn't look it but he's got guts and Teruteru would be surprised I think because in general he had probably never been perceived that way or respected in that way and also Fuyuhiko would be smiling in a pretty natural way about it and it's also probably the most positive someone was about him besides his mother about things that aren't just his food, not that I'm making a point about how he wouldn't like to be praised for his food because he does it's more like the other way around the point being that he would be in awe of that instance of his character getting some form of praise because the bits that Fuyuhiko seems to hold in higher regard are more like what Teruteru would be suppressing like when he'd be direct or angry or proactive and in that sense maybe he himself could be cool without being urban I don't know...? but kind of flushed emoji (yall know I'm sick when I'm describing stuff like this at this point)

Anyway we'd go back to school with finally some progress being made and I think Teruteru would at this point be pretty serious about his performance in the academy and in that sense Fuyuhiko would be thinking he has to shape up too and I think people surrounding them would take time to be perplexed at what's going on that they talk to begin with, but truly Teruteru could be taking a break and Fuyuhiko loiters for a bit, leaves as if it was casual despite the fact they had some kind of fight over something Teruteru said and Teruteru would be there like sighing and Kazuichi would be like don't tell me...!! and Teruteru would be kind of shambles because it's exactly that... but the chances are on the doubtful side because well Fuyuhiko already had someone he likes, even if they're taking time for each other, it wouldn't immediately erase that and Kazuichi would be like Well that's true and before he can question further there's also a Nagito from the shadows like Are you sure about that? and it's solely because it would make sense that a symbol of hope would stand up for the sake of their goals and so naturally if Teruteru is interested in Fuyuhiko he should go for it after all the two are already refining their talents and strengthening their motivations off of one another it would be a shame to have a standstill from here !!

Kazuichi and Teruteru are already gone from the monologue that ensued and it doesn't feel like a good idea when it's Nagito saying it but that's okay because while Teruteru is there on that standstill the plot twist would be also Teruteru lingering on Fuyuhiko's mind and so he's been dragging him around but I feel like it differs from how it would have been with someone like Hajime in his final free time event and if anything that difference is what perplexes Fuyuhiko who despite being the one to drag him around also drops him instantly when confronted with the idea that he would seek him out in the first place and he would be talking to Peko like You look like you're doing good and she would be like Likewise and I guess technically Peko could be set for another ship above my paygrade to develop on when this post is already so long or in general she is hopefully enjoying life and Fuyuhiko would be like Does it look like that and she would be nodding because she would know best and is somewhat melancholy but she could be talking about how the experience she accumulated has been eye-opening and how her sword may end up having uses other than to kill and Fuyuhiko would be glad for her while at the same time conflicted and Peko would say that conversely Fuyuhiko also seems more motivated than before and that he has always had that power so he should do what he wants to do and it would hopefully be a note to settle Peko because she seems more vibrant and human than ever and Fuyuhiko is happy for her, but it's not the same as before and so he thanks her for being there for him as always and he leaves

Then I think there would be talks in the academy of what would happen in the future and like Teruteru would of course expand upon his diner I'm pretty sure and in that sense it's a future separate from what Fuyuhiko will be up to but he would go up to Teruteru and talk about how he unfortunately draws attention, like my mind is thinking of lines about how while there's nothing good about getting involved with him, he's already way deep into being friends with everyone in class so now he can't make any excuses, and that he's gotta make sure he protects them and takes responsibility... And the same goes for Teruteru, because even if they'll be apart, he would want to stop by. and I think that Teruteru would be like yeah of course not fully getting the drift and Fuyuhiko would also reconsider the drift being in this occasion and stomp away except Teruteru would connect dots because Fuyuhiko seemed kind of fidgety but no way right?? except Teruteru would return home and Fuyuhiko would be right there and in a way Fuyuhiko's hesitation would to me connect to how Fuyuhiko's character arc from free time events to Island Mode seem to be about courage and taking up the mantle of his burdens properly and so Fuyuhiko would say he's not running any longer because he's gonna take over the family business, rule the world and Teruteru will be getting the next seat over, and once both are successful in what they do, Fuyuhiko's coming for him and the mental image would be Teruteru kinda ruins the mood answering as if it was already a marriage proposal but you idiot! there are steps to this but does it matter if I'll say yes to all of themm yes it does let go of me!! but well it turns out Teruteru brought his future wife after all WHO'RE YOU CALLING THE WIFE HUH-- but Teruteru would share in that feeling a bit where there's a lot ahead in the future but that it's thanks to Fuyuhiko he came that far and it will be thanks to Fuyuhiko he'll come again-- THE END

I think there would have been more events in between just that I have to speedrun this plotline considering how already large the formula had to be in my brain for the two to talk meaningfully to begin with I am sorry I tried my best !! What a difficult combo for multiple reasons, though I suppose a lot of the difficulty was in my liking Peko too much to throw her to the wayside but I guess in a way maybe those logistics would always be high above my paygrade and I gotta play at it like people who ship Fuyuhiko or Peko with people where I don't normally see what happened that they didn't get together instead (not that I probably won't be tempted to consider these logistics regardless) but either way, with Teruteru also being a Chapter 1 character thus having less lines, there's a lot that has to be left to headcanon but I found along the way that there could be a sort of dynamic based on how in a way Teruteru is also someone who internally is very frank and so that sort of energy has some commonality with Fuyuhiko, but both also having arcs relating to facing their futures based on their inner weakness was something I took advantage of here too. Though the true biggest sin I committed was that the catalyst for it all was Peko's underwear I'M SO SORRY-- Hopefully at least it's kind of a timeline that I guess could show Teruteru in a different light from usual?
