Tesco tests cashierless stores

Aiming to match the appeal of scan-and-go stores by Amazon, Tesco is extending its cashierless system to one more shop. It had been testing this out at its head office in Welwyn Garden City.

A Tesco-n adventure

There are no proper grocery stores anywhere near our flat (but there are over 5 good bars within a 10 min radius).

Today’s goals after class was to buy groceries, enough to last ourselves and the commune till the end of July.

To summarize since I’m too lazy and trying to sleep:

- 25 plastic bags - 2 uber car rides - 30 min drives outside of town - 1 delicious jar of soup!
