The moment he found out you have depression he would went into confusion. another side of him make him feel like he wasn't good enough for you. he genuinely thinks HE'S the reason you're depressed and is the reason you aren't happy with him.

sooo..he'll try and act more different than he is that you probably did notice he's changing..you might even bought it up because you're getting worried of why he is suddenly changing himself. but all he said was

that actually worries you even more because this man would be more dead pan than acting all cheerful like this..is scaring you.
