something about the way the majority people who actually live in Xadia are so convinced it's worth saving, even when it motivates them to do awful things ("Destroying that egg saved our kingdom, maybe all of humanity!" / "We will sacrifice anything to stop you and save this world! My heart for Xadia!"), that it's something they can make better ("You said you want to change things, to make a better world" / "We have to build a better world") vs Sol Regem and Aaravos and the Cosmic Council who are so convinced of the opposite ("No one can save it" / "This world is an instrument of suffering, of torment" / "this act is the beginning of the end" & "the mortal world brings only pain").

think it would be really cool if Moonshadow elves had little moon halos constantly and matched their emotional/social state with phases of the moon. the halo waning when they're less sure, going black with new moon when they're deep in thought or disguising things. other elves see them as weirdos because their horns grow out into the circle to silhouette their halo. the ability for their halos to express what they won't say out loud making moonshadow elves mask / thought crime even harder to keep things hidden accordingly. hoods and tassels and other adornments being commonly used to cover up your halo even if it's also kinda seen as mistrustworthy to among their own kind. rayla's halo acting up around callum in arc 1 when she's lying or flustered, it going dark / being broken when she's banished in s3, her always walking around in arc 2 with a damaged one until s7 when she finally goes home. (callum post s6 painfully growing one out of his skull bc he connects to the moon arcanum and struggling so hard to keep it in check in s7 when he lies + it being broken by his dark magic use).
