The moment he found out you have depression he would went into confusion. another side of him make him feel like he wasn't good enough for you. he genuinely thinks HE'S the reason you're depressed and is the reason you aren't happy with him.

sooo..he'll try and act more different than he is that you probably did notice he's changing..you might even bought it up because you're getting worried of why he is suddenly changing himself. but all he said was

"oh don't you worry y/n! is nothing really!"

that actually worries you even more because this man would be more dead pan than acting all cheerful like this..is scaring you.

he probably try and offer you hugs even though he usually don't do hugs because it makes him too tight.

he'll started helping you with everything to make you feel better and appreciate and love you more..and maybe you will love him more too.

he'll try and cook but..you know he's an arrancar..and he don't do well with food.. so erm expect food poisoning (on accident)

he'll feel so bad afterward if he make you sick because of his food.

after a while and you decide to mention that he don't have to change too much just for your sake of mental health he'll try and change himself back to normal. but he'll still be caring though because he's still scared..no terrified, of you leaving him.
