Introduction

I will be honest, this was my very first fandom. This is where I got to understand what shipping was.

It's hard to believe that so much time has passed.

We're talking about the time of webrings, ezboard, and Yahoo!Groups.

Ahh the good old days.

No shade to the recent reboot, Roswell, New Mexico. I watched it and enjoyed the heck out of it, but the 1999 version will ALWAYS have a place in my heart.

As to why I started this, I did it just because. I wanted another place to have all the Roswell (1999) and you are free to come check it out.

I'm just grateful that the fandom was so robust. Fun fact for those who weren't there, there was a whole campaign to save the show after the second season, where people sent in bottles of Tabasco sauce. It worked and we got a third and final season.

I will be having mostly reblogs but I will be putting up original posts when I find the time.

Hopefully this will spark someone to make some new stuff, but it's ok to just bask in what already is.

I am on a real Roswell (1999) kick lately and I realized two characters would have a blast together.

This is Ava (no last name). She is an alien clone of...damn how do I explain this. She is a duplicate clone of a hybrid clone of a dead alien queen. Yeah...follow that sentence because it's the best explaination for her...wait let me go fond a pic of the person she is a duplicate of.

Ha! Found the perfect one.

See Ava got the pink hair, and the blonde is named Tess Harding. They weren't raised together.

Ava and three other alien duplicates were raised in NYC.

And she would totally click with Stiles Stilinski. Whether its platonic or romantic, they would work.

See, Ava was only in one episode, never to be seen again. Sure her episode was first broadcast in 2000 and Teen Wolf first started in 2011, but that's what fandom and fan fiction is for. So she left in her car. Where did she go? Yeah, pretty interesting.

The thing about Ava is that she was the least aggressive of her group and tended to go along to get along, but she was always observing, always paying attention.

When the conversation about weakness verses strength comes up, it's kind of hard to classify where she stood against the other three she was raised with. She was physically weaker than the rest, but her abilities are to change the physical matter of objects (like that is her hair and not a wig and she can change it to whatever she wants) and she can control minds and insert thoughts and visions into people heads.

Minus the while mind whammy thing, sounds a lot like Stiles.

I mean any of the creatures he could come up against can totally shred him to bits, but as a human (and with a bit of research and supplies) he can stand a good chance of survival.

Both of these two have a strong grasp on sarcasm and would get into lots of trouble together.

Ava was pretty much an outcast of her group and was only tolerated because they were of the same species. And she knew that. Stiles, while beloved, was also kinda pushed to the side. Tolerated. Both of them were such an untapped resource.

Imagine what they could get upto together.

The Sheriff would not be impressed nor surprised.

Oh and they both have their own personal traumas that will probably haunt them for the rest of their lives.

The show Roswell is on Tubi in the US. Her single episode was Season 2 episode 8. Go check it and let me know what you think.
