HAMMY'S POSTING. Wanna know something miiiildly amusing? I keep discovering new blogs through @strebcr's blog graphic requests. Pineapple's work is very popular in this corner of the RPC and for a good reason, me thinks. I know the Editblr community exists, but I only know about it because of her lmao. IIRC, she's mentioned before that she makes her graphics in free phone apps? Which is impressive in on itself, I can barely crop videos for gifs and the like without the websites I used throwing a fit and hounding me to buy a subscription I REFUSE to buy.
It's nice to hear that people can get so much work done with such little and simple tools, it shows that RPing doesn't have a very high barrier of entry when it comes to graphics. I would know, I used to make everything for my blogs in Paint Tool SAI before I was blessed with my own PSD and knowledge on how to use Photoshop (not because it's objectively better, but because my icons look much better now).

HAMMY'S POSTING. I've already mentioned many blogs that could've easily fallen under this category instead, man!! 😭 People that are active atm, that is. If I'm allowed to mention mutuals that haven't been around lately, @proephecy is my pick for one of the KINDEST muns in the RPC. She's the sweetest, a warm light in the Dash, and while I didn't have the chance to write much with her I always enjoyed commenting on her OOC posts and chatting with her. She's just as lovely as her work and her choice in muses, I honestly miss her and her writing lot.
🌙 • A mutual whose aesthetic you adore.
HAMMY'S POSTING. Damn, the only repeat question I got. Guess I'll do something different this time: another speed round but of people that draw a lot for their blog! People that draw their muses for icons and the like deserve way more credit than they usually get!
Talking about OCs, @starfaite's artstyle and character design are to DIE for! Not only Tina's a fellow blue blog/muses enjoyer like I am, but Layla's and all of her alternate versions' icons are drawn by her! And I understand why her icons are bigger as a result, I'd also want people to see my art to the best of their ability, without covering it under overlays and filters and the like. Her last line of drawings, where she's drawn the Laylas in different outfits, are some of my personal favorites, btw.
As for canon muse blogs that also do this, and also use PSDs for their icons, @gniius / @25-centz art is very cute and their icons are simple but VERY eye-catching, which I think works because Donnie writes/draws very stylized cartoon characters. The bold lines, simple shapes, the bright yet limited color palettes; I feel that's why Donnie's blogs are so aesthetically cohesive as a whole! Also yet another mono-blue enjoyer in the case of their Dexter blog, hehe. Ya'll should take look at their art blog sometime, I like how they can draw these characters in their own style but also get really close to the official style if they want to.
@testingrealm does this on a multimuse level! What's fun about Dexter's blog is that it's very artistically-consistent. Like all of its muses' icons are drawn by it, like it doesn't matter if they're OCs or canon characters, that blog is its own little universe tied together by the themes most muses share as well as Dexter's artwork. Hell, if it needs an icon for a particular situation, it'll just draw it! My slow ass could never lol, so I find it worth admiring. PLUS!! Dexter's artstyle is VERY EASILY IDENTIFYABLE!! It's characterized (imo) by sharp corners and all sorts of geometrical shapes; which I think is very cool. Bold even. Just like the lineart, hehe.
