This is something I've talked to with a few others, but I've seen so many people suggest that, in universes where Gwen gets the Omnitrix Ben would become a sorcerer like her in the main timeline, but consider this instead:

Ben without the Omnitrix becomes a Star-Lord/Corsair type character with his own rag-tag team of space daring, people helping weirdos made up of Tetrax, Looma, Gluto, Ship, Argit, and Attea.
