How do I explain to my mother that yes, I gave someone extra products for free along with their order, because she's cute and I'm gay without sounding like I'm a bad business owner?
@my lgbt brothers and sisters in Texas right now, get the hell outta there if you can. If not- then stay safe. I'm so sorry for all the shit they are doing. I know all this isn't new, but it sure ain't right. I wish you all the best and hope you all stay safe. Good luck out there friends. I love each of you individually.
Urgent.
Hey guys. So I really hate having to do this but I have no other choice. So awhile ago my parents disowned me and kicked me out. It was fine though because I was in dorms. Well now that it's winter break the dorms are closed and I'm couch hopping and living in my car. Well I have a car payment in 2 days for 250 dollars that I have no way of getting the money. If there is any way you could donate or talk to me about doing commissions work I would be so greatful. For the next month my car is the roof over my head. So please the least little bit could help. My paypal is https://www.paypal.me/ParkerLea. If you have any questions just message me please.
Ya boy got his HRT letter 🤘🏼😜
Youth First- a goodbye/rant
For those who have followed me and known me through out the years, you will know one thing. I loved going to a LGBT youth center called “Youth First”. It was a safe space for me for years. A place where I had friends and even helped other youth.
That was up until the last 6 months or so. My family used to go to family dinner night every friday we could. That included my little brother. My little brother is 12 and has autism.
For YEARS, no one had issue with him. Other youth loved him. He was overjoyed when he turned 12 and got to become an official youth of Youth First. He hasn’t come out to us as anything, but he at the very least a very vivid ally. He’s learned when people are being mean to me or other lgbt people and has has told people what theyve said is wrong.
Well, it seems that over the years, the values of the Youth first program has shifted. They put themselves out there as a welcoming places for all LGBT youth and their allies, regardless of disability.
As this year as proven, they are anything but that.
Youth first has strict rules, supposedly to help the more sensitive youth and to maintain the electronics that Youth first has.
Well...They’ve never been the greatest on including the physically disabled youth.
My biggest issue is how they’ve been handling youth with severe mental disabilities. They’ve literally shunned youth who have mental disabilities and don’t let them on outings if they plan.
This really is a lot about my brother’s situation. In the about 6 months he got to be an offical youth, he was: not allowed to stay at the lock in not allowed to go on multiple outings
My parents and I both offered to be the person who watches david to make sure he doesn’t get into trouble and wanders off. They refused both because of how parents can make youth uncomfortable and me because they want me to enjoy myself. Honestly made it out to seem like I think my brother is a burden to me.
My brother’s behavior that’s literally caused by his disability...got him banned.
They said literally anyone in my family is welcome the youth center, but him.
My brother cried and was very very upset.
My family decided that there wasn’t a point in us going outside the occasional time we’re by the center after an appointment.
He got banned because they “don’t have the resources to deal with his autism” and we made a few youth uncomfortable. When my parents volunteered to be that person to watch him. when I volunteered to be that person to watch him. They chose a youth who likely has been there maybe a year over an entire family that’s been there since 2013.
What the hell is my family supposed to do if he comes out as LGBT?
stop excluding people with disabilities in your “safe spaces”
Under new management!
Old owner was barely on, and she asked if I could take her space. Now Here I am. I’ll be making a few changes to the page. So feel free to submit or ask me anything.
