Introducing our newest family members: Carl and Chip. They aren't brothers (biologically) but they are both about 3 months old. We adopted them together because we knew they would be happier with a companion to play with and they have been really funny together. Their cages were right next to each other and they would reach their paws out and paw at each other and meow. Plus they had such similar temparments that we couldn't choose between the two of them. So here we are with 2 new cats and we love them already. I have already had to move some plants around to accomadate their curiosity and save my plants from being dug up, but that is okay; I already knew that would happen. They are so cute. I always had cats (and many different animals) growing up but, I haven't had a cat in a couple of years since our last cat got hit by a hit and run. I took a while to decide to take on another animal. I am always super distraught when one of our animals pass away. But the yearning for another kitty had been growing for the past few months. As much as I love all animals, I have always had a special connection and partial-ness for cats (it's the Leo in me). Now we just have to introduce them to our girl dogs and then see if they want to adventure outdoors. I don't believe in keeping cats solely inside. It's in their blood to get outdoors and do some hunting and climbing and running. One thing at a time though. . . . 🐱🐱 So now we have to boys, two girl dogs, two boy cats.
