She was always up to something. That was almost a given fact. It didn’t matter if it was with the woman's club she was in, on her own or dragging someone else down with her. Or in this case, dragging her Captain out with her to the world of the living.
Gathering everything they needed before hand, the soul reaper had mapped out her plan to go 'visit' Ichigo and conveniently hook him up on a date. There was that adorable Orihime girl... Or Rukia she supposed. But that's why she needed her captain for this mission. He had good insight on Ichigo... Well.. at least thats what she thought anyways.
"Oh come on Captain, don't be such a stick in the mud. This is going to be fun! Sides, didn't you promise Ichigos sister that you would help with that next soccer match? Can't have you breaking that promise now can we?" This of course came from a woman who drank regularly rather than filling out her paperwork.
Toshiro didn’t know how and when he let his guard down to let his vice-captain drag him into her shenanigans again, but either way, it was best to get this over and done with so he can head back. Being inappropriate and giving Kurosaki minimal personal space about this aside, he was certain Kuchiki and Abarai had prior history, and were more likely to be an item later. It was fitting as well, Soul Reapers and Humans should date their own kind anyway, he didn’t even want to bother with the complications of age and time differences of those two mixing.
“This is not my idea of fun Matsumoto, it’s yours.” He corrected her bluntly with a heavy sigh as he followed alongside her. “Yes I did promise Kurosaki’s sister that, however I did not say anything about arriving here early. Now I need to come up with an excuse for that if she sees us, it’s going to get old if we keep on using the hollow excuse.”
Even before that, they needed a decent reason for showing up randomly at Ichigo’s house in the first place. This was an annoying hassle to deal with, so he had no choice but to figure something out by the time they got there. “Do you even have an explanation for all this?” Toshiro looked at her, hoping for some miracle that she had a plan in the first place.

Juvia paused as she looked over at Lyon from where she sat across from him. The Rain woman smiled as she tucked a bookmark into the book she was reading. "Lyon-kun thinks that highly of of Juvia?" He had her attention with those words. It seemed almost odd considering they were on a joint job and they were supposed to be looking information up.
But she thought about it a little more as her smile softened. "Juvia is grateful that she has Lyon-kun in her life. Friendship has always been hard for Juvia to have until Fairy Tail. So Juvia cherishes all that count her as friends." She reached across as she pat Lyons hand gently. "So Juvia agrees... Lyon-kun is the same for Juvia."
“Of course, I think higher of you than even some of my guildmates as well,” Lyon replied, he’d include Gray too but that was pushing it. Master Ooba was pressuring Lyon to be with a star female mage for more fame and glory for Lamina Scale, especially since Lyon himself was rising in popularity.
Associating with Fairy Tail was risky, their own reputation infamous especially with the council. But Lyon did not mind, he worked best with some of the guild members too including Juvia and Gray if they had to go on joint quests like this one now. “I see, I’m glad to hear that, Juvia,” Lyon smiled back happily that it was the same for Juvia too. His initial crush on Juvia aside, Lyon wanted to build upon their friendship first, all the more better if she fell in love with him in the process, as he was for her already.
“I just wanted to express that while we are alone, I suppose we should get back to work,” the Ice Mage stood up and went to look for another book to read through for their current job together.

"Oh Freed!" Miras face lit up as she turned to face the male as color tinged her cheeks. Seeing the rose and the heart shaped box it warmed her heart to be in the receiving end of the other affection on Valentine's day. "How sweet, thank you." Setting the rag down she was using to clean the counter, she leaned over giving a little peck of a kiss on Freeds cheek. Giving the male a wink she gently took the offered gifts. "Happy Valentine's day to you too." Bringing the rose to her nose, she gave it a small sniff, enjoying the sweet smell of the flower.
“You’re very welcome, it is the least I could do, Mira!” Freed replied happily, glad that she enjoyed his gifts. Now with the formalities out of the way, he gave her a knowing and mischievous look and smile.
“Well then, shall we get started? Who should we visit first?” he asked her curiously.

The lieutenant bit back her laughter as much as she could as she looked the ID over. Now she wasn't the master mind that decided to make them. No... But she had insisted that if there were to keep going to the world of the living, that if they were caught doing something, they could provide fake information.
"It's not that bad! I mean it could definitely be so much worse than being an exchange student...." She squinted her eyes as she tried reading the location and failing at doing so. "Uh.... Huh... From wherever this is at." She pointed at the locations name as her nail tapped the plastic card lightly.
“It’s not that funny Matsumoto, but I admit you have a point. I already don’t fit in as a high school student as it is, having proof that I am an adult just in case may prove useful during our investigations in future.” Toshiro gave his lieutenant a dead panned expression, why was it always fun for her at his expense? He just hoped he wouldn’t be quizzed on the country he was apparently from.
“Iceland, whoever is responsible is definitely mocking me.” After their mission, Toshiro was surely going to go back to his squad, and do some investigating himself and freeze the culprit for a certain amount of time as punishment, hands just free enough to help him with the squad’s paperwork.
